Allen-Bradley 25B-B8P0N104 PowerFlex 525 1.5 kW AC Drive
Description
1.5 kW PowerFlex 525 on 200-240V AC three-phase, frame A
If a machine needs a 1.5 kW (2.0 Hp) PowerFlex 525 on 200-240V AC three-phase, 25B-B8P0N104 is the Allen-Bradley catalog number to look for. Continuous output is 8.0 A, the physical size is frame A, and the unit is an IP20 open-type drive. No integral EMC filter.
Rockwell prints the neighbouring ratings in the 520-TD001 table. For 200 to 240V three-phase, no filter: 25B-B5P0N104 (0.75 kW, 5.0 A), 25B-B8P0N104 (1.5 kW, 8.0 A) and 25B-B011N104 (2.2 kW, 11.0 A) all sit in frame A, and 25B-B017N104 (4.0 kW, 17.5 A) moves up to frame B.

Protection and fault handling
The drive trips on bus overvoltage and undervoltage at fixed DC-bus levels, for example 810V DC on 380 to 480V supplies, and offers 100 ms of power ride-through with logic ride-through of 0.5 s minimum. Electronic motor overload is class 10 under NEC 430 with over-temperature protection, backed by a 200% hardware current limit and a 300% instantaneous fault.
Ground-fault and short-circuit trips act on phase-to-ground and phase-to-phase faults at the output. The drive may be connected to circuits up to 100,000 A symmetrical; the real figure depends on the fuse or breaker type chosen from the protection tables for catalog number 25B-B8P0N104.
Typical use and selection notes
At 1.5 kW and 8.0 A on 240V three-phase, this drive suits small pumps, mixers and conveyor sections on 220 to 240V networks. In GCC plants most supplies are 400V, so check the voltage first; a 240V-class drive such as this one is for sites with 230V three-phase or for 240V motors. Frame A mounting means it can be DIN-rail mounted beside other 520-series drives with zero stacking.
The protection tables give an input current of 9.5 A, IEC catalog fuses from 16 A to 20 A, a 100-C12 or 100-E12 contactor and a 140M-C2E-C10 or 140MT-C3E-C10 breaker. In the UL table, Class CC, J or T fuses to 20 A pair with the 100-C12 and up to 30 A with the 100-C23.
Ordering and documents
Send us 25B-B8P0N104 with the quantity, and check the line voltage, the motor current and whether the integral filter is wanted. HIM, conduit box and communication cards are separate order codes. The hosted file is Rockwell publication 520-TD001 (September 2025), which covers PowerFlex 523 and 525. We are an independent supplier based in Muscat. Please verify ratings with the current Rockwell literature before purchase.
A short checklist helps when asking about 25B-B8P0N104: motor power and current, supply voltage, required enclosure, expected ambient temperature, control wiring or network (digital inputs, analog reference or fieldbus) and any braking requirement. We can then compare your needs with the listed ratings (PowerFlex 525 1.5 kW (2.0 Hp) AC drive, 200-240V AC three-phase, 8.0 A, frame A) and tell you what is still missing.

About brand
Allen-Bradley is the brand of Rockwell Automation for industrial control: ControlLogix and CompactLogix controllers, I/O systems, PanelView operator terminals, PowerFlex drives, motor control and industrial network equipment. The company began in Milwaukee in 1903, when Lynde Bradley and Dr. Stanton Allen formed the Compression Rheostat Company to make the motor speed controller Bradley had invented in 1901. It took the name Allen-Bradley in 1909 and was bought by Rockwell International in 1985. Since 2001 its owner has been Rockwell Automation, which is still headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Allen-Bradley company profile
| Founded | 1903, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, as the Compression Rheostat Company |

| Name | Allen-Bradley Company from 1909 |
| Ownership | Acquired by Rockwell International in 1985 for about USD 1.65 billion; a brand of Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK) since 2001 |
| Headquarters | Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA |

Reading Allen-Bradley catalogue numbers
The first digits of an Allen-Bradley catalogue number identify the platform, which tells you what is compatible with what. 1756 is ControlLogix (chassis-based, used for large process and plant control), 1769 is CompactLogix 5370 with Compact I/O, 5069 is CompactLogix 5380 with Compact 5000 I/O, 1734 is POINT I/O, 1794 and 5094 are FLEX and FLEX 5000 distributed I/O, 1746 and 1747 belong to the older SLC 500 family, 1766 is MicroLogix 1400 and 2080 is Micro800. For drives, 25B is PowerFlex 525 and 22B is PowerFlex 40; in a code such as 25B-D010N114, "D" means 380–480 V, "010" is the output current rating, and N114 instead of N104 means the drive has an integrated EMC filter. Many plants in the region still run SLC 500 and older MicroLogix systems, which Rockwell has discontinued, so exact spares and migration to CompactLogix are both common requests.
Where Allen-Bradley products are used
In Oman and the GCC, Allen-Bradley controllers and drives run on oil and gas facilities, water treatment and pumping stations, cement, food and beverage and packaging plants, and on machines supplied by American OEMs. ControlLogix is often the platform for plant control systems, while PowerFlex drives are used on pumps, fans and conveyors.

Ordering Allen-Bradley products: what we need
Send the full catalogue number and the series letter from the label (for example 1756-EN2T Series D), because firmware and compatibility can change between series. For drives, add the motor power, voltage and filter option. For a discontinued SLC 500 or MicroLogix part, tell us whether you need the exact spare or a migration proposal.
