The ATL family splits as follows: ATL100 for single-phase two-source panels, ATL500 and ATL600 for three-phase two-source panels, ATL800 for two sources plus a tie-breaker and ATL900 for three sources with two tie-breakers. Pick the one that matches the single-line diagram.

Lovato order codes describe the product. On a contactor such as BF0910A230, "BF09" is the frame and rated current (9 A in AC-3), "10" is the built-in auxiliary contact (one normally open), "A" means an AC coil and "230" is the coil voltage. The coil voltage must match the control circuit exactly, so it is the most common detail to check when replacing one. For motors, a soft starter limits the inrush current at start and stop, while a variable speed drive controls the speed continuously and saves energy on pumps and fans that do not need full flow all the time.
