Danfoss 032U7150 is the EV220B 50, a G 2 brass-body, normally closed solenoid valve with a 50 mm orifice and a Kv of 40 m3/h (Cv 46.2). It is the top of the threaded EV220B 15 to 50 range and a common pick for fill lines, wash-down headers and process water feed on skids where flanged valves would be oversized.

Slow, soft closing for big water lines
Closing takes roughly ten seconds and opening five seconds on water, as estimated by Danfoss. That long time protects the pipeline from water hammer, yet it means you must allow for the volume that flows after the coil is de-energised if the valve is used for dosing or for tank filling with a level switch.
The data sheet offers an optional equalising orifice to adapt the closing behaviour; the store lists it as an option. Do not modify it without the guidance in the data sheet. The medium range of -30 to 120 C and the maximum viscosity of 50 cSt apply.
Installation and ordering notes
Use a strainer, keep a straight run of pipe upstream and make sure the arrow follows the flow. A coil must be ordered separately, along with the connector, and the voltage should match the plant supply. The approvals as listed include CE, DNV GL CG-0339 and GL, but confirm the approval you need for your application.

Because the valve is heavy for a threaded part, an unsupported pipe will place stress on the thread and may cause leaks after some months. Add a pipe clamp each side, use thread sealant suitable for the medium, and tighten with a wrench on the body flats only. Note also that the minimum differential of 0.3 bar means the valve will not open on gravity-fed lines with a very low head, so check the available head before choosing this model for a tank-to-tank transfer.

Choosing Danfoss products
For solenoid valves, check the operating principle. A direct-operated valve such as EV210B opens even at 0 bar differential pressure. A servo-operated valve such as EV220B needs a minimum differential (typically about 0.3 bar) to open, while an assisted-lift valve such as EV250B works from 0 bar. Coils are ordered separately, so the voltage on the coil (for example 230 V AC or 24 V DC) must match the control circuit.
