How do I read the order code of a Duplomatic DS3 valve?
The code on the label starts with DS3 and continues with the spool configuration, the seal type, the coil voltage and current type, and the electrical connection, followed by a series number. Every element matters for a replacement, so copy the whole string or send a clear photo of the label.
Will a DS3 valve fit an existing subplate?
The DS3 has the ISO 4401-03 mounting interface, so it bolts to any subplate or manifold face machined to that standard pattern. Check the spool function and the coil voltage before swapping valves of different makes, because the port pattern being equal does not make the hydraulic function equal.
What must be stated about coils and voltage?
Give the coil voltage, whether it is DC or AC, the frequency for AC, and the connector type. If only a coil is needed, send the valve order code and the marking on the coil itself. Coils differ between valve series and are not freely interchangeable.
