Ensitech TBE-330 TIG Brush Weld Cleaner

Description

An entry-level electrochemical cleaner for stainless steel welds

The Ensitech TBE-330 is the simplest machine in the TIG Brush range. It removes heat tint, discoloration and oxides from stainless steel welds and passivates the surface in the same step, using a carbon-fibre brush, low-voltage current and a cleaning fluid. It is intended for fabricators who clean welds occasionally and want an alternative to pickling paste or abrasive finishing.

Unlike the larger TIG Brush units, the 330 is a single-purpose cleaning and passivation machine; it has no polishing, engraving or printing modes. Its yellow IP64 case is easy to spot on site and is closed against dust and water spray.

Using the TBE-330

The operator dips the brush into fluid and draws it along the weld; current flowing through the wet brush heats the fluid and dissolves the oxide film, leaving a passive chromium-rich surface. The Low setting suits thin sheet and light tint, while High is used on heavier oxide. After cleaning, the surface is rinsed and, with acidic fluids, neutralised. The 330 accepts all single-brush TIG Brush applicators, so the push-in brush system can be shared with larger machines in the same workshop. Typical users are small fabrication shops, maintenance crews and installers who weld stainless handrails, brackets or pipe spools only now and then, where buying and storing pickling paste would be out of proportion to the work. Because there is no mode switch to set, training a new operator takes minutes.

What the 330 kit contains

The 330 is supplied as the LokWand Kit: control unit, LokWand applicator with 4 m handle cable, ground cable, a 10-pack of push-in brushes, 1 litre of weld cleaning fluid, 1 litre of neutralising fluid, PPE, fluid jar, spray bottle, instruction manual and quick-start guides. Ensitech lists kit code K-X330L-F2542, with K-E330LW-G2542-RB1 for the US market. The Slimline torch, Classic Wand, PROPEL torch and Flexi handle are available as add-ons.

About brand
Ensitech is an Australian manufacturer of metal surface finishing technology, established in 2006 and based in Emu Plains, New South Wales. It designs and builds the TIG Brush, an electrochemical system that removes heat tint from stainless steel welds and passivates the surface in the same step. Seven Star LLC, an independent supplier in Muscat, lists the TBE-550 weld cleaner and sources Ensitech equipment and fluids for stainless steel fabricators.

TIG Brush weld cleaning systems

The TIG Brush combines electric current, heat and a cleaning fluid applied through a conductive brush, in place of pickling paste or abrasive work on discoloured welds. The current range covers the 330, 440, 550 and 700 control units. TBE models accept 110–230 V supplies, while TBX models are built for 220–230 V only. Each unit works with interchangeable application tools such as the Slimline torch, LokWand, PROPEL torch and Flexi Handle.

Ordering Ensitech equipment: what we need

Give the control unit model and series (TBE or TBX), the application tool you plan to use, and the stainless grade and typical weld type. For consumables, list the brush type and the cleaning and neutralising fluids by name. We check the selection against Ensitech documentation and provide the manufacturer's specification sheet on request.
