Brand:

Axis Q6315-LE PTZ Network Camera, 1080p, 31x Zoom

Description

A 1080p PTZ camera for long outdoor sightlines

The Axis Q6315-LE is a high-speed pan-tilt-zoom camera for outdoor perimeters, yards and gates where one camera has to cover a wide area and still pick out detail far away. It combines a 1/2 inch sensor and a 31x optical zoom with laser focus, which keeps the picture sharp while the lens zooms between any two values in under a second. Axis lists built-in 850 nm IR illumination with a reach of 300 m or more depending on the scene, so the camera keeps working after dark.

For operators it adds autotracking 2 with click-and-track, an orientation aid, and privacy masking in mosaic or chameleon mode. Analytics on board include AXIS Object Analytics, Scene Metadata and a gatekeeper function. Security is handled by a TPM and Axis Edge Vault; the datasheet lists FIPS 140-2 level 2 certified hardware protection.

Power, mounting and what is in the box

The camera is supplied with a 60 W midspan with power cable, an IP66 network connector, a Windows decoder 1-user license and a repaint template. Audio and I/O connectivity runs through Axis portcast technology rather than separate terminals, so check that the network and midspan arrangement suits your cabinet layout. The datasheet gives two power modes: in low power mode the camera is rated only from -5 degC upwards, so use full power for cold sites.

Mounting uses the AXIS T91/T94 accessories listed by Axis; the photo shows the camera with a weathercap and wall mount. Choose the 50 Hz or 60 Hz variant to match the local mains frequency and video standard.
