Overview
The SIQURA EX-PD24 is a compact explosion-proof 2MP PTZ dome camera from TKH Security’s Siqura explosion-proof camera range. It is intended for video surveillance in hazardous areas at onshore, offshore, marine and heavy industrial sites, and is certified under ATEX and IECEx for flammable gas and combustible dust atmospheres.
The camera combines a 1/2.8″ progressive-scan CMOS sensor with a 20x optical zoom lens in an electro-polished 316L stainless steel flameproof housing. It streams H.264, H.265 and MJPEG video and is ONVIF Profile S and T conformant for integration into third-party video management systems.

SIQURA EX-PD24 Installation and Wiring Notes
The EX-PD24 has a single M25 × 1.5 cable entry, so power, network and any alarm or audio cores have to enter through one certified gland. Inside, the datasheet lists an RJ45 Ethernet port, a 2-pole terminal block for 12 V DC or 24 V AC, an 8-pole block for alarm inputs and outputs, and two 2-pole blocks for audio in and out. The mounting flange is 270 mm in diameter with four 13 mm holes on a 245 mm pitch circle; the unit is 215 mm high and weighs 13.5 kg.
The choice of power supply affects the low-temperature limit. The 12 W consumption figure excludes the heater, and the 10 W heater works only on 24 V AC. It switches on below 15 °C and off above 25 °C. Without the heater the continuous range is -20 to +50 °C. With a sheltered installation the continuous air-temperature range is given as -30 to +55 °C, inside an overall operating range of -30 to +60 °C.
SIQURA EX-PD24 System Compatibility
TKH Security lists two matching Ethernet interface tails for its EX cameras: INT3-RJ5 with a 5 m RJ45 tail and INT3-RJ10 with a 10 m tail, and the Siqura EX-JB01, a 316L stainless-steel Ex e termination box intended for EX cameras. On the software side the camera supports ONVIF Profile S and T, records to NAS over NFS or CIFS, and supports 802.1x, HTTPS and IP filtering. Events can be triggered by an external input, motion detection or network failure.
