Brand:

Axis P3265-LVE Outdoor 2 MP Dome Camera with IR

Description

Outdoor dome camera for entrances, car parks and building perimeters

The Axis P3265-LVE is a fixed outdoor dome with a 2 MP sensor, built-in infrared lighting and deep learning analytics. It is a vandal-resistant camera: Axis lists IK10 impact protection together with IP66 and NEMA 4X, and the weathershield is in the box. The ARTPEC-8 chip and the deep learning processing unit run AXIS Object Analytics on the camera, which classifies humans, vehicles and vehicle types.

Image quality in poor light comes from Lightfinder 2.0, Forensic WDR up to 120 dB and OptimizedIR, which uses 850 nm LEDs. There are two lens variants, a wide 9 mm for close, wide coverage and a 22 mm tele lens for longer distances, so the order code decides how the camera covers the scene.

Choosing the variant and mounting

Pick the lens from the viewing distance. The 9 mm model has a 100 degree widest field of view and a 40 m IR reach, while the 22 mm model narrows to 35 degrees at its widest and reaches 45 m. Axis also lists different audio arrangements on the two models, so state whether two-way audio is needed. The camera runs on standard PoE Class 3, so most switches and midspans will power it.

Accessories named in the datasheet include a recessed mount, pendant kits, a dome intrusion switch for the 9 mm model, replacement clear or smoked domes and casings. The datasheet also lists a Windows decoder licence, a drill template, cable gaskets and a connector guard in the box.
