JUMO miroVIEW Smart Digital Panel Indicator, Type 701580

Description

Compact smart indicator with limit monitoring, timer and Bluetooth setup

The JUMO miroVIEW (type 701580) is a small digital panel indicator, with a 69 x 28.5 mm cut-out, for RTD probes, thermocouples, 0(4) to 20 mA and 0 to 10 V signals. It adds limit-value monitoring, min/max storage, a hold function, a tare function, a timer and counters for service and operating hours. Two 18-segment LCD displays show the value (4 digits, white, 13 mm) and a green text or value line (7 digits, 4 mm).

Operation uses a four-key membrane keyboard and menus in English, German, French and Spanish. A micro-B USB socket on the rear lets a PC configure the device without mains supply, because the USB port powers it. An optional Bluetooth interface, with about 10 m range, works with the JUMO smartCONNECT app for limited configuration and for copying settings to other units. Spring-cage PUSH IN terminals speed up wiring.

With its IP65 front and membrane keypad, the unit suits exposed machine fronts, and the digital flag with toggle function can alternate the display between min and max values and message text. No special tools are needed for the push-in terminals.

Output variants and installation

The device comes either with a changeover relay plus an N/O relay, or with one N/O relay and a 0/14 V digital output to drive a solid-state relay (order codes 23 and 26 in the data sheet). The two relay outputs must not be operated on different mains circuits, and mixing a SELV circuit with a mains circuit on the two relays is not admissible. The galvanic isolation figure is 3000 V AC between the circuit groups.

Panel cut-outs follow DIN IEC 61554. For close mounting the minimum spacing is 15 mm horizontally and 30 mm vertically. The device mounts with the supplied frame or with two mounting elements.

Wiring data worth planning: a 5 A relay load needs conductors of at least 0.75 mm2 and a 10 A load at least 1.0 mm2, while the push-in terminals accept 0.2 to 1.5 mm2 and ferrules with a plastic collar are limited to 0.75 mm2.

Choose the supply by the cabinet voltage: AC 230 V, AC 115 V or DC 12 to 24 V. Check the relay ratings against the load, since the changeover contact is rated 10 A at AC 250 V and the other relay 5 A or 10 A depending on the order code.

Uses and configuration

It suits compact machines, small ovens, laboratory equipment and control cabinets where only a small 69 x 28.5 mm cut-out is available. The timer can start after a lead time or at a tolerance limit, and its output signal is invertible. The service counter counts switching cycles or on-time and raises a binary alarm that must be acknowledged, which helps schedule maintenance.

Use the USB link for first setup on the bench with no mains connected, then copy the configuration to other devices with the setup program or the smartCONNECT app. As a general rule, test limit relays under real load before commissioning. Quote the ordered variant, supply and Bluetooth option on the inquiry.

The display values can be scaled freely and the decimal places set to 0, 1 or automatic, and in basic status the Back key can carry a configurable function, such as resetting the min/max values or starting the timer.

The USB port powers the unit during configuration, so a replacement can be pre-set at a desk before it is installed. The optional Bluetooth link works for limited configuration with the JUMO smartCONNECT app and can copy settings to other units.

About brand

JUMO is the German maker of temperature sensors, process controllers, pressure transmitters and liquid analysis instruments. Moritz Kurt Juchheim founded it in Fulda in 1948 as M. K. Juchheim KG, making glass thermometers with six employees. The name JUMO comes from the founder's name. It is still a family company headquartered in Fulda, and the parent company has been called JUMO GmbH & Co. KG since 2003.

Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier in Muscat. We list JUMO RTD and thermocouple probes, thermowells, transmitters, controllers, recorders and water analysis instruments, and supply them to process plants, OEMs, HVAC contractors and water utilities in Oman and the GCC by type number.

Choosing a temperature sensor starts with the range and accuracy. A Pt100 RTD is accurate and stable from about -200 to 600 °C and is the usual choice in process plants. A thermocouple (type K or J, for example) covers much higher temperatures and responds faster but is less accurate. The wiring also matters: a 3-wire or 4-wire Pt100 connection cancels the resistance of the cable, while a 2-wire connection adds an error that grows with cable length. That is why a head-mounted transmitter is often fitted close to the sensor.

Where JUMO products are used

In Oman and the GCC, JUMO sensors and controllers are used in oil and gas and chemical plants, food and beverage production, plastics and metal heat treatment, HVAC and district cooling, water and wastewater treatment, swimming pools and marine applications.

Ordering JUMO products: what we need

Send the JUMO type number and the full order code from the label (for example 902020/10-...). For probes, add the sensor type (Pt100, Pt1000, type K or J), the number of wires, the insertion length and diameter, and the process connection. For controllers, add the input, outputs and supply voltage.

Facts checked against JUMO's company history, October 2026.
