Zebra ZT411 Industrial Thermal Transfer Label Printer
Description
The Zebra ZT411 is a 4-inch industrial printer for plants, warehouses and yards that need durable labels printed all shift long. It prints by thermal transfer or direct thermal, uses a thin-film printhead with E3 Element Energy Equalizer, and carries a metal print mechanism with a side-loading media path, a 4.3 in. colour touch display and a metal cover with a large viewing window.
Built for durable labels in demanding sites
Asset tags, pipe and cable identification, pallet and carton labels, compliance and chemical labels and work-in-progress tickets all share one requirement: the label has to stay readable and the printer has to keep running. The ZT411 addresses this with tool-less printhead and platen replacement, bi-colour status LEDs, printhead element-out detection and a bi-fold media door that, according to the specification sheet, reduces the space needed to open the printer by 35 percent.
Print resolution is selectable at purchase: 203 dpi (8 dots/mm), 300 dpi (12 dots/mm) or 600 dpi (24 dots/mm). The maximum print width is 4.09 in. (104 mm) for all three. Programmable print speed reaches 14 in. per second at 203 dpi, 10 in. per second at 300 dpi and 4 in. per second at 600 dpi, so fine 600 dpi work such as small component labels runs slower than bulk shipping labels.

Media, ribbon and sensing details
Label sensing uses dual transmissive and reflective sensors with automatic calibration at power-up or when the printhead is closed. The sheet gives the gap standard as 2 to 4 mm between labels (3 mm preferred), a 6 mm by 3 mm sensing notch and a 3 mm sensing hole. Black-mark stock needs a mark of 2.5 to 11.5 mm in length and at least 9.5 mm in width with an optical density above 1.0 ODU. Maximum non-continuous label and liner length is 39 in. (991 mm) at 203 and 300 dpi and 20 in. (508 mm) at 600 dpi.
Selecting a ZT400 series model and ordering
Within the family the ZT411 is the 4-inch model; the ZT421 shares the platform with a 6.6 in. print width. Linerless media is offered as an option and, per the sheet, is factory-installed with direct thermal printing only. Ribbon is wound ink-side out as standard and runs 2.00 to 4.33 in. wide, up to 450 m.
Before ordering confirm the print resolution, the interfaces (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, serial or parallel), whether a cutter, peeler, rewind, applicator interface or RFID encoder is required, the power cord for the destination, and the label and ribbon material. Seven Star LLC supplies Zebra products as an independent supplier in Muscat; part-number configuration is confirmed against the manufacturer documentation at quotation.
