What does OEM (Unbranded) mean on the Seven Star site?
It is a holding group for listed items that have no identified manufacturer brand, or that were requested by part number or description only. Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier and not the maker of these items. Where the original manufacturer becomes known, the item is quoted under that manufacturer's name.
Can you identify a part from a part number alone?
Sometimes. A part number such as a solenoid valve type code often follows one maker's coding system and can be traced. It is far more reliable with a photo of the nameplate and the name of the machine or skid the part was fitted to. If we cannot trace it, we tell you instead of guessing.
What data do you need for an unbranded panel voltmeter?
Give the front bezel size and panel cutout, the scale range, AC or DC measurement, direct connection or connection through a voltage transformer with its ratio, and the accuracy class if it is printed on the dial. A photo of the dial and of the rear terminals usually answers most of these points.
What is needed to quote a compressor inspection kit?
Send the compressor model, mark number and serial number from the nameplate, for example Howden WRV(H) 204 MK3-4, together with the list of parts the kit should contain or the page from the machine's parts manual. Kit contents differ between marks of the same compressor, so the model alone is not enough.
Which documents come with an unbranded part?
Only the documents the actual manufacturer issues, and we provide them on request. If no manufacturer can be identified, a manufacturer's certificate cannot be promised. For flameproof or other hazardous-area equipment the maker's certificate is essential, so those items need to be identified by brand and type before an order is placed.
