Industrial air plasma cutter with synergic air pressure
The GYS NEOCUT 125 is a three-phase air plasma cutting power source rated at 125 A with 100% duty cycle at 40 °C. It cuts mild steel, stainless steel, tempered and high-yield steels, aluminium and copper, and GYS gives a severance capacity of 57 mm. The machine regulates air pressure and flow automatically for the torch length and the selected mode, which keeps cut quality stable as the nozzle and electrode wear.
Six working modes are available: cutting, cutting with locked trigger, gouging, gouging with locked trigger, cutting of perforated or expanded sheet, and marking for tracing and identifying parts on a cutting table. Arc ignition is HF-free to avoid disturbing nearby electronics.

The OLED interface (seven languages) includes a consumable wear counter and a pneumatic diagnosis that checks for moisture and air pressure. Software updates are loaded through a USB cable without opening the case, and the torch connects and disconnects without tools.
Sizing a plasma cutter and its air supply
Plasma cutters are usually selected on clean-cut thickness rather than severance thickness, because severance cuts are slow and leave a rough edge. With 40 mm clean cut, the NEOCUT 125 suits plate shops and structural work that regularly cut 20 mm to 40 mm steel. The compressed air must be clean and dry: moisture and oil shorten electrode and nozzle life, so a filter and dryer are recommended upstream, and the compressor must deliver the listed flow continuously. For thinner material, the GYS NEOCUT 105 gives 35 mm clean cut on a 32 A supply.
For gouging, the 12 kg/h removal rate makes the machine useful for back-gouging weld roots and removing defective welds, as an alternative to carbon-arc gouging with less noise and fume. On a cutting table, the marking mode lets the same torch scribe part numbers and bend lines before the parts are cut out, which saves a separate marking step.
