GYS NEOPULSE 320 C Pulsed MIG/MAG Welding Machine

Description

Three-phase pulsed MIG/MAG machine for demanding workshop use

The GYS NEOPULSE 320 C is a digital, three-phase, pulsed MIG/MAG welding machine with a 10 to 320 A range and a duty cycle of 300 A at 60%. It combines synergic curves for steel, stainless steel, aluminium and CuSi/CuAl wires with a four-roll wire feed system, and it also welds with coated electrodes (MMA) and in lift TIG, so one power source covers the three common arc processes.

GYS built the machine in France for industrial work. It has four microprocessors for fast communication between control and power stages, an IP23 casing, a reinforced metal body with non-slip rubber pads, and an interface designed around welders’ navigation habits, with three user levels from Easy to Advanced.

Welding modes and settings management

Six MIG-MAG modes are available: Standard Dynamic, Standard Impact, Standard Root, Pulsed, Modularc and Manual. Once the material, gas and wire diameter are selected in synergic mode, the machine proposes the welding settings, which the operator can still adjust through wire speed, voltage, current and arc length. Tack modes (SPOT and DELAY), 2T and 4T trigger, creep speed, soft start, hot start, upslope, downslope, crater fill and post-gas allow the whole cycle to be shaped.

Up to 500 programs can be stored and moved by USB key, and the same port updates the machine and synergy curves. Energy consumption is displayed and calculated after welding in line with EN 1011-1, ISO/TR 18491 and QW-409, while current and voltage readings during and after welding support WPS/PQR documentation. Traceability weld by weld, aligned to EN ISO 3834, is listed as a feature, and a SAM interface can be added for automated or robotic use.

Configuration and options

The machine takes 200 or 300 mm wire reels and can be linked to the optional NEOFEED-4W separate wire feeder through interconnection cables of up to 20 m, air- or water-cooled. A cooling unit (WCU 1KW C) and a trolley are available, and a Push-Pull torch (24 V / 42 V) can be connected for long-reach aluminium welding. Digital remote control use requires a connector kit (P.N. 063938).

For mains planning, the machine needs a 3 x 400 V supply with a 32 A delayed fuse. The weight of 36 kg and the dimensions of 680 x 300 x 550 mm allow it to be moved on the optional trolley between workstations.

About brand

GYS is a French manufacturer of welding and cutting equipment, battery chargers and collision repair systems, active since 1964. The company is headquartered in Saint-Berthevin, France, and has subsidiaries in China, Germany, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom. Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier in Muscat and lists the GYS NEOPULSE 400 G pulsed MIG/MAG power source.

GYS product range

The welding and cutting program covers MIG/MAG, TIG and MMA inverters, plasma cutters, wire feeders, cooling units and torches. GYS also builds battery chargers and boosters, car body repair and spot welding equipment, and induction heating tools. Its industrial NEOPULSE series uses separate NEOFEED wire feeders and synergic curves for steel, stainless steel, aluminium and CuSi wires.

Ordering GYS equipment: what we need

GYS identifies every product and accessory by a six-digit reference number, so send the reference along with the model name. For a welding set, list the wire feeder, interconnection cable length, cooling unit, trolley and torch, and give the mains voltage at site.
