Brand:

Mitsubishi GT2510-VTBA GOT2000 10.4 Inch HMI Touch Panel

Description

Overview

The Mitsubishi GT2510-VTBA is a 10.4 inch graphic operation terminal from the GT25 model of the Mitsubishi Electric GOT2000 series. It combines a VGA TFT colour display with an analog resistive touch panel, generous user memory and a full set of built-in communication ports, and is powered from 100 to 240 V AC. The black-bezel GT2510-VTBA sits between the compact GT2508 and the larger GT2512 in the GT25 line-up, giving machine builders and plant engineers a mid-size operator panel for monitoring and control.

Seven Star LLC supplies the Mitsubishi GT2510-VTBA, its communication units, protection sheets and accessories to panel builders, OEMs and maintenance teams in Oman and the GCC. We help customers match the GOT to their controllers and networks, and provide model selection support from Muscat.

Operating Principle

An HMI such as the Mitsubishi GT2510-VTBA runs project screens created in GT Works3 (GT Designer3), version 1.180N or later. The screens read and write device values in connected controllers over Ethernet or serial links, so operators can view process values, trends and alarms, change set points and send commands by touching on-screen objects. The GOT stores projects and data in its 32 MB storage memory and runs them in 80 MB of operation memory, and an SD card slot (SDHC up to 32 GB) can hold logging data, recipes and project backups.

The analog resistive touch panel detects one point at a time, which allows operation with gloves or a stylus and is well suited to industrial use. A lithium battery (GT11-50BAT) backs up SRAM data, clock data and the system status log for about five years at 25 degrees C. In general terms, placing a graphic terminal close to the machine reduces the need for push buttons, pilot lamps and panel meters, and gives operators clear diagnostics when an alarm occurs.

Engineering Design of the Mitsubishi GT2510-VTBA

The Mitsubishi GT2510-VTBA has a 10.4 inch TFT colour LCD with VGA resolution of 640 x 480 dots, a display area of 211.2 x 158.4 mm, 65536 colours and 32 brightness levels. The LED backlight has a life of about 60,000 hours at 25 degrees C and 50 percent intensity, and the touch panel is rated for one million touches or more. The front face is rated IP67F when the USB cover is closed, and the part inside the control panel is IP2X.

Built-in interfaces include one RS-232 port (D-sub 9-pin male), one RS-422/485 port (D-sub 9-pin female), one Ethernet port (100BASE-TX/10BASE-T, RJ-45), two USB host ports (front and rear), one front USB device port and the SD card slot, plus an extension interface and a side interface for communication or option units. The unit measures 303 x 218 x 52 mm, needs a panel cut-out of 289 x 200 mm and weighs 2.1 kg. Safety standards listed include CE, UL and cUL.

Key Features

The Mitsubishi GT2510-VTBA brings these benefits to operator stations.

  • A 10.4 inch VGA TFT display with 65536 colours gives clear graphics, trends and alarm lists.
  • Ethernet, RS-232 and RS-422/485 ports are built in, so many controllers connect without extra modules.
  • Two USB host ports and a front USB device port simplify project transfer and data export.
  • An SDHC card slot up to 32 GB supports data logging, recipes and backups.
  • 32 MB storage and 80 MB operation memory allow large, detailed projects.
  • The IP67F front face protects against dust and water jets in industrial areas.
  • An LED backlight with about 60,000 hours life reduces maintenance.
  • Extension and side interfaces accept communication units such as CC-Link IE networks.

Industrial Applications

The Mitsubishi GT2510-VTBA is used as the operator interface for packaging lines, pump stations, chillers and HVAC plant, water treatment skids, compressors, dosing systems and general machinery. It pairs naturally with MELSEC iQ-F, iQ-R and Q series PLCs and with FR-A800 inverters, and it can also communicate with many third-party controllers through its Ethernet and serial ports. In Oman, typical uses include water and wastewater stations, district cooling plants and industrial machines in the Rusayl, Sohar and Salalah industrial estates.

Seven Star LLC supplies the Mitsubishi GT2510-VTBA to integrators and end users in Muscat and across the GCC, from our office in Muscat. Installation Notes

For a clean installation of the Mitsubishi GT2510-VTBA, cut the panel opening accurately to 289 x 200 mm and tighten the mounting fittings evenly so the front gasket seals properly. Keep the USB cover closed to maintain the IP67F rating. As general practice in Gulf plants, avoid mounting HMIs in direct sunlight or near heat sources, and consider a canopy or air-conditioned enclosure for outdoor operator stations.

Route Ethernet and serial cables away from inverter motor leads, earth the panel properly and use shielded cable for RS-422/485 links. Keeping a current copy of the project on an SD card or engineering laptop also shortens recovery time if the terminal ever has to be replaced in the field.

About brand
Laboratories that run an NSX-2100 trace sulfur, nitrogen or chlorine analyzer usually know it as a Mitsubishi instrument. The nameplate reads Mitsubishi Chemical Analytech, a name later changed to Nittoseiko Analytech. Seven Star LLC lists the TN6RPC gas tube dryer set for this analyzer and sources NSX-2100 consumables for refinery and fuel-testing laboratories in Oman and the GCC.

Mitsubishi NSX-2100 parts

The NSX-2100 was built with a horizontal or a vertical furnace, and one furnace can serve several detectors. The dryer set removes water from the combustion gas before it reaches the detector. Like the connection kits, it is a consumable, and its part code changes with the analyzer variant.

Ordering NSX-2100 consumables: what we need

Send the part code, for example TN6RPC, together with the exact analyzer model shown on the nameplate (the letters after NSX-2100 indicate furnace type and detectors), the serial number and the detectors fitted. Some original part codes have been replaced by newer ones, so we check each code against the manufacturer's current parts list before quoting.
