Measurement Principle

The VEGA VEGABAR 82 measures pressure using VEGA’s proprietary CERTEC oil-free ceramic measuring cell. Process pressure acts directly on the flush-mounted ceramic diaphragm, and the resulting deflection is measured capacitively and converted into a precise pressure signal with no fill fluid required, eliminating the leak risk associated with oil-filled metallic cells.
