Specifications

The OMD-501X oxygen analyzer measures the oxygen content of the flue gas with the zirconia sensor and the heated probe. The analyzer is installed on the boiler duct and the sensor element is inserted into the gas stream with the probe flange. The transmitter displays the reading and provides the 4-20 mA output for the combustion control of the plant, and the calibration is made with the reference gas.

The OMD-501X analyzer is used with the ceramic filter of the probe and the sample flow is controlled by the ejector of the system. The calibration sequence is initiated from the transmitter and the readings are corrected for the reference gas values. The analyzer provides the self-diagnostic message for the sensor failure and the probe temperature. The replacement sensor is inserted at the probe tip without the removal of the probe from the duct.

The OMD-501X provides the automatic calibration with the zero and the span gases, and the calibration history is stored in the transmitter memory. The analyzer is used for the combustion control and the efficiency measurement of the boilers and the furnaces. The switching output signals the maintenance request of the sensor and the probe.

The analyzer is supplied with the commissioning kit of the probe and the calibration gases, and the initial reading is verified against the reference instrument before the handover to the operator.
