Where AMETEK analyzers are used
The 900 air demand analyzer sits on the tail gas of a Claus sulfur recovery unit and measures H2S and SO2 so the air to the reaction furnace can be trimmed. The 930 watches the vapor space of the sulfur pit. Moisture analyzers such as the 3050-OLV and 5100HD serve gas dehydration, pipeline and LNG feed gas, and the Thermox WDG-V measures excess oxygen on fired heaters and boilers. These duties are common in gas processing and refining across the GCC.

Depending on age and product line, the plate may read AMETEK Process Instruments, Western Research or Thermox, and level instruments carry the Drexelbrook name. Why is the analyzer serial number needed for AMETEK spare parts?

Send the complete model number of the electronic unit and the sensing element, because a Drexelbrook system is a transmitter plus a probe selected for the vessel. Add insertion length, process connection, the material being measured, temperature, pressure and the area classification. For a replacement, photos of both labels are the safest reference.
