Where the smaller SOGEVAC pumps run out of capacity, Leybold 960602V is the SV 220 B: an air-cooled single-stage rotary vane pump with a nominal speed of 200 m3/h (117.7 cfm) at 50 Hz and 240 m3/h (141.3 cfm) at 60 Hz. This code includes the oil filter and a mineral oil filling, a manual gas ballast adjustable up to 7 Nm3/h and a standard IEC three-phase IE3 motor of 4.5 kW, so it arrives as a complete pump for continuous industrial service.

Leybold positions the SV 220 B for users who want a high pumping speed at all pressures, a very good ultimate pressure of 8 x 10-2 mbar and a low pump temperature that extends oil life. The pump is yellow-metal free as standard, which matters in plants that avoid copper alloys in contact with process gas.
