Calpeda

Calpeda is an Italian pump manufacturer, established in 1959 in Montorso Vicentino, whose centrifugal pumps are fitted in water supply, irrigation, cooling and general industrial service. Seven Star LLC supplies Calpeda pumps to contractors and maintenance teams in Oman. Two models are listed on this page, both from the NM series of close-coupled centrifugal pumps: the NM 50/12D/B and the NM 50/12F/C.

Calpeda NM series pumps

The NM series are single-stage end-suction pumps with flanged ports, built close-coupled so that pump and electric motor share one shaft and no separate coupling or baseplate alignment is needed. In the designation, the first number is the nominal discharge size (50 mm here) and the second relates to the nominal impeller size. The letters that follow distinguish the impeller trim and motor rating, which is why NM 50/12D and NM 50/12F are different duty points on the same casing. These pumps handle clean water and similar non-aggressive liquids.

Ordering Calpeda pumps: what we need

Send the complete model from the nameplate, including every letter after the slash, with the motor voltage, frequency and power. Frequency matters: a 50 Hz and a 60 Hz pump of the same size are not interchangeable. For a new selection, give flow, head, liquid and temperature. For spares such as mechanical seals or impellers, add the serial or date code. We supply across the GCC.
