The gamma/ XL is a solenoid-driven diaphragm metering pump for small to medium dosing rates. The Sigma X S1Cb is a motor-driven diaphragm metering pump for larger capacities. The DULCOMETER diaLog DACb is a water analysis controller with two measuring and control channels that are configured individually; it closes the loop between DULCOTEST sensors and the metering pumps, and is offered with PROFIBUS DP, Modbus RTU or PROFINET.

What is the ProMinent identity code and where do I find it?
The identity code is the long alphanumeric string on the pump or controller nameplate. Each position stands for one feature: type and capacity, liquid end material, seal material, hydraulic connection, power supply, control variant and options. Two pumps of the same series with different codes are not interchangeable without checking, so always quote the full code and the serial number.
What can the DULCOMETER diaLog DACb measure and control?
According to ProMinent, the DACb has two measuring and control channels that are set up individually and work with DULCOTEST sensors for water parameters such as pH, ORP and chlorine. It logs measured data to an SD card and can show values through a web server over LAN. State both measured variables when ordering.
Can the diaLog DACb connect to a plant control system?
ProMinent lists PROFIBUS DP, Modbus RTU and PROFINET as fieldbus options, and the controller is Ethernet capable. The fieldbus is part of the ordered configuration, so name the protocol your PLC or DCS uses in the inquiry. Wall-mounted housings are given as IP 66 and IP 67.
How do I choose between a gamma/ XL and a Sigma X metering pump?
Capacity and back pressure decide it. The solenoid-driven gamma/ XL covers the lower dosing rates, and the motor-driven Sigma X takes over where more volume per hour is needed. Tell us the required rate in liters per hour, the pressure at the injection point and the chemical, and we will check the size against the ProMinent capacity tables.
