How do I read the type key on a KRACHT gear pump?

The key starts with the series, such as KF, followed by the nominal size, which reflects the displacement per revolution. Further characters define direction of rotation, shaft and flange version, housing material, seal type and material, and the port design. A special number at the end marks a non-standard build. Copy the full key from the nameplate when asking for a quotation.

What must match when replacing a KRACHT pump on an existing motor?

Displacement, direction of rotation, shaft end, mounting flange and port positions all have to match, or the pump will not fit the bell housing and coupling. Seal material must suit the fluid and temperature. If the pump has a built-in pressure relief valve, its setting range matters too. The type key covers these points, so send it complete.

How does a KRACHT gear type flow meter work and what signal does it give?

The liquid turns a pair of measuring gears, and each tooth passing a sensor represents a fixed small volume. The meter therefore delivers a pulse signal proportional to the volume that has passed.
