Lenze E82EV371K2C 8200 vector Frequency Inverter 0.37 kW 230 V
Description
Compact 230 V drive rated 0.37 kW
The Lenze E82EV371K2C is an 8200 vector base controller for a four-pole motor of 0.37 kW (0.5 hp) on a 1/N/PE 230 V supply. It belongs to the modular 8200 vector range, which spans 0.25 to 90 kW and is completed by a plug-in function module for the control terminals or a fieldbus link. The 8200 vector is listed by Lenze among its previous products, which makes this a legacy item. Data on this page follows the Lenze catalogue of 11/02 and needs confirmation of availability and revision.

Reading the type code E82EV371K2C
The tables encode three items: the 8200 vector base controller (E82EV), the 0.37 kW size (371) and the 230 V mains class (K2C). Three-digit suffixes complete the code in the tables, 0xx for an integrated EMC filter and 2xx for none, so state the suffix when you enquire.
Selection and installation notes
Most installations combine it with function module E82ZAFSC010 as the I/O interface and may add the EMZ9371BC keypad. Size the drive from the motor current, not only kW: the continuous output is 2.4 A. Output current falls to 1.6 A at a 16 kHz chopper frequency. A mains choke is optional here and lowers the single-phase mains current to 4.2 A. The catalogue gives two derating rules: 2.5% per degree above +40 degrees C, 5% per 1000 m above 1000 m. Mount the unit vertically with at least 100 mm free above and below.
Beyond the ratings, the catalogue describes a speed setting range of 1:50 with an accuracy of plus or minus 0.5 percent in sensorless operation, a minimum output frequency of 1.0 Hz and a maximum torque of 1.8 times rated torque for 60 s. Setpoints can be given digitally with plus or minus 0.005 Hz accuracy or through analog inputs with 10-bit resolution. Combined with the output rating of 2.4 A, this makes the 0.37 kW size suitable for ordinary variable-speed duty on standard induction motors.
Range position
Neighbours in the 230 V class are given by the type tables: the next size up is 0.55 kW (E82EV551K2C).

About brand
Lenze is the German drive and automation company for machine building: frequency inverters, servo inverters, motors and gearboxes, controllers and engineering software. Its history begins on 5 November 1947, when Hans Lenze took over Stahlkontor GmbH in Hameln from the Mannesmann group. The group is led by Lenze SE, an unlisted European company based in Aerzen near Hameln, and the Lenze family owns all of its shares.
Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier in Muscat. We list Lenze frequency and servo inverters, including current and earlier generations, for machine builders and maintenance teams in Oman and the GCC.

Lenze product series
Current inverters on this site are the i500 family: the i510 compact frequency inverter, the i550 cabinet inverter and its i550 protec decentral version for mounting on the machine, and the i950 cabinet servo inverter. Earlier generations that are still widely installed are also listed: the 8400 StateLine C inverters (E84AVSC...), the 8200 vector frequency inverters (E82EV...) and the 9300 servo position controllers and servo inverters (EVS93...), including versions with Safe Torque Off.
Where Lenze drives are used
Conveyors and intralogistics, packaging and bottling lines, pumps and fans, hoists, textile and printing machines, and positioning axes on special machines. Many plants in the region keep 8200 vector and 9300 drives in service and need exact replacements or a planned migration to the i500 series.

Ordering Lenze inverters: what we need
Send the complete type code from the nameplate, for example E84AVSCE5524SX0, together with the supply voltage, motor power and current, the control interface or fieldbus module, and any options such as safety functions, keypad or brake resistor. When replacing an installed drive, keep the parameter set and wiring records, because a new unit or a successor model must be parameterised to match the machine.
