Description
A compact gas-cooled TIG torch for low-current precision work
The CK Worldwide CK24 is a small gas-cooled TIG torch rated at 80 A with the rigid neck and 90 A with the flex neck, ACHF or DCSP, at 100% duty cycle. CK lists it as equivalent to the CK80 (rigid) and CK90 (flex). It uses 8 Series consumables, giving a short, slim head for thin sheet, small tube, instrument parts and repair work where heat input is low and access is tight.
Being gas-cooled, it needs no water cooler, which keeps the setup light and simple for portable inverters and bench work.

How the CK24 package code is built
Each package number combines the body, cable length, cable type and head. CK24 or CK24V gives the body without or with a gas valve; 12 or 25 is the cable length in feet; -R is a 1-piece cable that carries gas and current together, -2 a 2-piece set with a separate argon hose; SF selects Super-Flex hose; RG or FX gives the rigid or flex head. CK24V-25-2SF FX is therefore a valved flex torch on a 25 ft 2-piece Super-Flex cable. A valved body is useful on stick or lift-arc machines without a gas solenoid.
Low-profile options and step-up choices
For very restricted clearance, the 80 A Ozmo and cut-down packages pair the CK24 with special low-profile consumables (kits KIT-OZMO and KIT-CD, each with heatshield, two gas lenses, two collets, two alumina cups and five 3/32 in tungstens). If the current requirement rises, the water-cooled CK24W (180 A) keeps the same 8 Series parts, while the 250 A CK20 water-cooled TIG torch moves to the larger 2 Series family.
