Haws 7324 AXION MSR Wall Mount Eye/Face Wash
Description
7324 is a slim Haws AXION MSR wall-mounted eye/face wash with no bowl: a vertical riser with a laminar-flow head, a push-flag ball valve and a green molded ABS wall bracket. Its integral flow control is 3.7 gpm and the inlet is 1/2 in. NPT.
A bowl-less eyewash for tight wall space
Without a receptor bowl, the 7324 takes very little space and needs a floor drain, which Haws recommends in the specification note. The head is the AXION MSR inverted directional laminar type protected by a dust cover, supplied from a chrome-plated brass stay-open ball valve with a stainless steel ball and stem, operated by a stainless push flag.
Like the other Axion units, the eye/face wash and valve assembly is pre-built and fully water/pressure tested before shipment, and the unit ships with a green molded ABS plastic wall bracket to assist installation. A universal sign and a weekly test card are included.

Selection and ordering guide
The 7324 is the choice when the eyewash must hang on a wall with a floor drain below and a bowl would be in the way. Where splashing must be contained, the bowl-type 7260B on this site includes an 11 in. receptor and a waste outlet.
The parts breakdown for the 7324 lists a head assembly, dust cover, 1/2 x 1/2 x 3/8 tee, vertical valve, eyewash sign and test tag, which is a useful reference when planning spares.
Installation and operation notes
The manual recommends a minimum 1/2 in. IPS line at 30-90 psi and an inlet filter where sediment is a problem. For low flow, check the main valve, verify 30 psi, and clean the flow control by removing the four screws of the eye/face wash head; if the streams do not reach eye level, look for a blocked flow control or a non-level assembly.
Because there is no bowl, plan the drainage so that testing water runs to a floor drain, as the sheet notes.
Applications in Oman and the GCC
Wall-mounted eyewash with a floor drain is common in plant rooms, utility areas, laboratories with tiled floors and vehicle workshops. In GCC sites where ambient water may be warm, the 9201EW tempering valve and 9001.5 alarm listed on the sheet are the options to review.
Each station should be reachable within the 10 seconds that the Haws applications text recommends.
