Enerdis TRIAD2 T304 – Programmable Multi-Output Transducer
Description
Overview
The Enerdis TRIAD2 T304 is a programmable digital transducer from the TRIAD 2 range (now catalogued under Chauvin Arnoux Energy). It converts AC electrical quantities measured on single-phase, split-phase and 3- or 4-wire balanced or unbalanced three-phase networks into standard analogue signals for PLC, SCADA and metering panels.
In the TRIAD 2 order code T3xy, “3” designates the large model, “x” the communication module and “y” the number of analogue outputs. The T304 is therefore the large-model TRIAD 2 with the optical-head communication module (0) and four analogue outputs (4). The outputs are programmed with the TRIADJUST 2 software, either in the factory or by the user, and can be reconfigured later if the network data change.
Key Features
- Four programmable analogue outputs in one housing
- Measured quantities selectable from I, V, U, F, PF, P, Q, S, cosφ, φ, φU, φV and tanφ

- Linear, 2-slope or quadratic transfer curves
- Configuration through TRIADJUST 2 via the optical head (T304 communication module 0)
- 4 kV insulation between circuits
- Mounting on DIN rail or panel plate

Enerdis TRIAD2 T304 Installation and Wiring Notes
The Enerdis installation manual specifies the TRIAD 2 for CAT III 300 V installations, pollution degree 2, indoor use and altitudes below 2000 m. It clips onto 35 mm DIN rail; screw fixing needs the optional plate kit. The unit has no on/off switch, so the manual requires an external switch or circuit breaker close to the transducer, marked as its disconnecting device, plus fuse or breaker protection on the measurement and auxiliary supply circuits.
On the T3 housing the measurement inputs are on the upper terminal row (1-12) and the auxiliary supply and the four analogue outputs on the lower row (13-24). The auxiliary supply is not polarity-sensitive. Enerdis recommends fuses on the voltage inputs and shorting devices on the CT secondaries. Analogue output and communication cables must be kept apart from power cables, with shielded cable for low-level signals.
Front LEDs show operation, communication activity, wrong phase order, and analogue outputs that are overranged, overloaded or forced. There are no user-replaceable parts.
Enerdis TRIAD2 T304 Ordering Code and Options
The Chauvin Arnoux catalogue lists four order references for the four-output T304: P01380107 and P01380108 with ±20 mA outputs, and P01380123 and P01380124 with ±10 V outputs. Configuration is done with the free TRIADJUST 2 software through the USB optical head. Units that are not factory-configured are delivered without configuration labels; the software prints one label for the input/output settings and one for the wiring diagram, which are fixed to the housing.
Why Seven Star LLC
Seven Star LLC supplies Enerdis TRIAD 2 transducers to customers across Oman and the GCC. Before quoting, we check the order code, auxiliary supply version and output configuration against the label of your existing unit or the panel drawing, so that the replacement matches the installation.

About brand
Enerdis is a French name in fixed electrical measurement: power monitors, transducers and energy meters that are built into switchboards and substation panels. Current documents for these products appear under the Chauvin Arnoux Energy name, so both names may be found on labels and manuals. Seven Star LLC lists Enerdis power monitors and transducers and supplies them to utilities, panel builders and industrial plants in Oman by exact reference.
Enerdis products listed here
The ENERIUM 300 is a panel-mounted power monitor listed in accuracy class 0.2s, used for energy measurement and for watching the quality of the supply. The TRIAD2 T304 is a programmable transducer with multiple outputs: it measures the electrical quantities of a network and converts them into analog signals for a SCADA system, a recorder or a PLC. The ULYS MCM multi-channel energy meter is also listed.
Ordering Enerdis devices: what we need
These instruments are configured for the network they measure. Send the reference and serial number from the label, the network type (single-phase or three-phase, three or four wire), the CT and VT ratios, the auxiliary supply voltage, and for a transducer the quantity and output span assigned to each output, for example active power on 4-20 mA. State the communication protocol required. Substation projects in the GCC should also quote the utility specification that applies.
