ADASH A4300 VA3 Pro 3-Channel Vibration Analyzer and Data Collector
Overview
The ADASH A4300 VA3 Pro is a compact, one-hand vibration analyzer and route data collector designed for technicians who walk long inspection routes every day. Two signal inputs and a tacho/trigger input allow either two single-axis accelerometers or one triaxial sensor to be measured, so three channels are acquired at the same time. With a weight of only 780 g and more than ten hours of battery life, the ADASH A4300 VA3 Pro is built for a full shift of measurements without recharging.
Seven Star LLC supplies the ADASH A4300 VA3 Pro to maintenance teams in oil and gas, utilities, mining and manufacturing across the Sultanate of Oman and the GCC, with engineering support in Muscat. We help customers select the optional modules and sensors that match their machines, so the instrument grows with the condition monitoring programme instead of being oversized on day one.
Measurement Principle
Like all ADASH analyzers, the ADASH A4300 VA3 Pro converts sensor signals with 24-bit resolution and processes them in 64-bit arithmetic without an auto-gain stage, preserving a dynamic range of 120 dB. The frequency range runs from 0.5 Hz to 25 kHz at 64 kHz sampling, which covers slow-speed rolls and fans as well as high-frequency bearing and gear signals. Spectra are calculated in real time with resolution from 25 up to 25,600 lines, and the three channels are sampled fully simultaneously, so a triaxial sensor delivers horizontal, vertical and axial data in one measurement.
Beyond overall velocity and acceleration values, the instrument offers DEMOD envelope analysis to detect early rolling bearing damage, ACMT analysis for low-speed bearings, order analysis, user band values, RPM and DC measurement and orbit measurement with proximity probes. The built-in FASIT expert system evaluates the readings and indicates likely faults such as unbalance, looseness, misalignment and bearing wear in a simple traffic-light form, which helps less experienced staff decide when a machine needs specialist attention.
Engineering Design of the ADASH A4300 VA3 Pro
The housing is heavy-duty aluminium, optionally with an IP65 rating, and measures 230 x 82 x 32 mm. A 240 x 320 pixel colour TFT display and a keypad allow operation with one hand, while robust push-pull connectors on the top panel accept the ICP accelerometer, the triaxial sensor on input 2 and the tacho/trigger probe. A removable Li-ion battery pack supports continuous route work, and the 8 GB route memory holds large machine trees. Data is exchanged with the PC over USB.
Two practical tools are integrated into the top panel: a non-contact infrared temperature sensor measuring from -70 °C to +380 °C for quick bearing temperature checks, and an LED stroboscope that doubles as a torch, used to freeze belt drives, couplings and fan blades visually and to read machine speed. An intrinsically safe version with marking II 3G Ex ic op is IIC T3 Gc is also available for hazardous areas, together with an intrinsically safe laser tacho probe for balancing.
Key Features
The ADASH A4300 VA3 Pro is configured from free and optional modules, giving these capabilities:
- Three simultaneous vibration channels from two inputs, with input 2 prepared for a triaxial accelerometer.
- Meter, FASIT expert system and stroboscope modules included free in every unit.
- Optional Analyzer, Route, Balancer, Recorder, Run Up and Ultrasound modules that can be added later by download.
- Real-time FFT up to 25,600 lines with envelope, ACMT, order and orbit analysis.
- Built-in IR thermometer from -70 °C to +380 °C and LED stroboscope/torch.
- Light 780 g aluminium body with more than 10 hours of battery life for long routes.
- Route compatibility with the larger ADASH VA4 Pro, so both instruments can share the same DDS database.
- Intrinsically safe variant available for Zone 2 hazardous area routes.
Industrial Applications
Route-based condition monitoring is the main duty of the ADASH A4300 VA3 Pro. On oil fields and gas stations in Oman it is used to check pump sets, compressors, cooling fans and generator sets on a weekly or monthly cycle, and the intrinsically safe version allows the same work in classified process areas. Data collected on site is uploaded to ADASH DDS software, where trends reveal developing faults weeks before failure. Many sites combine portable route data with continuous protection from systems such as the Bently Nevada 1900/65A equipment monitor on their most critical assets.
Water and wastewater utilities, district cooling plants, cement works and food factories across the GCC benefit from the low entry cost of the ADASH A4300 VA3 Pro: the free Meter and FASIT modules give immediate value, and the Balancer or Recorder modules can be bought when the programme matures. For teams needing four channels, a large screen and advanced analysis, the ADASH A4400 VA4 Pro II vibration analyzer is the natural step up. Seven Star LLC supplies the ADASH A4300 VA3 Pro with accelerometers, triaxial sensors such as the PCB Piezotronics 356A01 tri-axial accelerometer, magnets and cables, and supports customers in Muscat with kit selection.
