The Lovato P5ME3PS0630 is a three-pole moulded case circuit breaker rated at 630 A with an electronic trip unit. The overload threshold is adjustable from 252 to 630 A and the short-circuit threshold from 378 to 6300 A. It is a main or feeder breaker for low-voltage switchboards. Tighten the M10 terminal screws to the torque stated in the instruction sheet, with a maximum of 48 Nm, and use the proper Allen key. Loose joints at this current level overheat and often cause failures long before the trip unit has a chance to act.

Exercise the handle during shutdowns, inspect for dust and discoloration, and verify the settings after any change in the downstream network. Thermographic checks under load are a good routine for 630 A joints.
