Weflo Fig. F1511 UL Listed Alarm Check Valve

Description

Wet-pipe alarm check valve with retard chamber and trim

The Weflo Fig. F1511-300 is an alarm check valve for wet-pipe (automatic sprinkler) fire protection systems. It acts as the system check valve and, when water flows at a rate equal to one or more sprinklers, it operates an electric alarm through a pressure switch and a hydraulic alarm through a water motor gong. A retard chamber in the trim helps prevent false alarms caused by pressure surges in the supply. The valve is installed vertically on the riser, with the supplied accessories fitted as a trim set.

The datasheet covers three end types for the main valve: F1511-300 with flange by flange, F1512-300 with flange by groove and F1522-300 with groove by groove. The valve is coated inside and out with fusion bonded epoxy to the AWWA C550 standard.

About brand

Fire protection contractors meet the Weflo name on gate valves, hydrants and check valves for sprinkler and hydrant mains. Weflo Valve is based in Qingdao, China, and makes industrial and fire protection valves. Seven Star LLC lists the Weflo Fig. 1209 flanged balancing valve and supplies Weflo valves for building services and fire water projects in Oman on inquiry.

Weflo valve families

The manufacturer program covers OS&Y and NRS gate valves, fire hydrants, check and alarm check valves, butterfly valves, deluge, pre-action, pressure relief and pressure reducing valves, Y and basket strainers, and air relief valves. Weflo states that its OS&Y and NRS gate valves are UL listed and FM approved through 24 inches. Products are identified by figure number, as with the Fig. 1209 balancing valve in our listing.
