Tegera Pro 9102 Synthetic Leather Assembly Gloves
Description
An unlined all-round glove for dry work where grip counts
Tegera Pro 9102 is a synthetic leather glove made in Microthan+ with reinforced seams. An extra layer of diamond-patterned Gripforce, which the sheet identifies as polypropylene, sits on the palm and gives the glove its grip. The back is polypropylene with a decorative yellow section for visibility, and a 360 degree elasticated wrist fastening closes it.
Ejendals recommends it for all-round work in dry environments where excellent grip and durability are crucial. It is classed as all-round work gloves and assembly gloves, medium weight, unlined, chrome free and a Category II glove. The data sheet is clear about the intended use: dry, clean, dirty, slippery and harsh environments.

When 9102 is the right Pro glove
EN 388 code 3111X gives abrasion 3, cut 1, tear 1 and puncture 1, so this is a grip and abrasion glove and gives no cut or puncture protection worth the name. For cut risk choose a cut-rated glove such as the Tegera 8855. For a lined winter version of the same collection, see the Tegera 9126.
The 184 to 225 mm length leaves the lower wrist free, so the cuff does not catch on tools. Because the glove is unlined it is better suited to warm workshops and vehicles than to cold stores. Sizes 7 to 12 are packed six pairs per bundle with a hangtag hook. The risks Ejendals lists for the glove are chrome allergy, abrasion injuries, blisters, grazes, contact with dirt and chapping, which tells you the job it was designed for: hands that grip tools, panels and fixings for hours in dry, dirty or slippery conditions. Quote the article number with the size, for example 9102-10, and confirm the quantity in bundles.
Handling and cleaning
The Gripforce layer wears with use, so check the palm for polished spots after heavy handling of rough steel. The glove carries a decorative yellow section on the back of the hand for better visibility, which also makes a worn or lost glove easy to spot on a bench or in a vehicle. Wipe off oil and dust with a damp cloth and let the glove air dry; avoid hot washing, which can stiffen synthetic leather.
The elasticated cuff gives a snug fit but is not a sealed cuff. For spraying, grinding and hot work add the appropriate task-specific protection.
Installation, assembly and service work
The sheet lists fine assembly, machine operating, carpentry, installation work, electrical installation, HVAC installation, sheet-metal work, engineering, warehouse work, airport work and service work among the areas, with industries including automotive repair, metal fabrication, electricity and gas supply, building and construction, mining and warehousing. For HVAC and electrical crews, the thin palm keeps feel on small screws and cable terminals.
Selection and care notes
Use the glove for dry work such as handling tools, fixings, panels and general assembly. It is not a chemical glove and not a cut-rated glove, so choose another model where those hazards are present. Check the size with the user, because a good fit improves grip and reduces fatigue, and replace the glove when the palm layer wears out.

Ejendals began with work gloves for local mills and industry, and in 2008 it acquired the Finnish safety shoe maker behind the Jalas brand. The company is run by Marcus Ejendal, the founder's grandson.
Seven Star LLC lists Tegera gloves for welding, chemical handling, cut risk, cold weather and power-tool work, and supplies them to contractors and plant owners in Oman against the exact model number and size.

Ordering Tegera gloves: what we need
Send the model number, the size and the number of pairs. Ejendals article numbers add the size, for example 7788-9 for a large. For chemical gloves also give the substances, because the permeation results are printed for only a few test chemicals.
