Brand:

Safety Jogger Flux S3S Mid Metal-Free ESD Safety Boots

Description

A lightweight metal-free mid-cut boot with ESD protection

Safety Jogger Flux S3S Mid delivers durable, water-resistant protection with a breathable upper, lightweight metal-free safety and a strong grip for light industrial work, as the sheet puts it. The toecap is nano carbon and the midsole an anti-puncture textile, so the boot has no metal parts. The tested sample weighs 0.568 kg.

It carries category S3S with SR, SC, FO, CI and ESD, to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 and ASTM F2413:2024. The upper is TPU and synthetic nubuck over a recycled mesh lining, with a PU/PU outsole and an SJ recycled memory foam footbed (90% recycled). Sizes are EU 35 to 50.

Key features

  • Metal-free: nano carbon toecap and anti-puncture textile midsole
  • ESD, volume resistance between 100 kOhm and 100 MOhm
  • Water-resistant TPU and synthetic nubuck upper
  • Breathable upper with moisture and temperature management
  • SR slip resistance, tested on tiles contaminated with soap and oil
  • Scuff cap (SC), cold insulation (CI), oil and fuel resistant (FO)

Why choose a metal-free ESD boot

Safety Jogger notes that metal-free shoes are in general lighter than regular safety shoes and that they help staff who pass metal detectors several times a day. The nano carbon toecap is described as an ultralight high-tech material with no thermal or electrical conductivity. Together with the ESD rating, this fits electronics, airports and secure facilities.

The ESD value of 5.2 MOhm is the lowest in this lane against a window of 0.1 to 100 MOhm, and outsole abrasion of 40.9 mm3 shows a hard-wearing sole. The SR slip friction on glycerin-contaminated ceramic is 0.30 and 0.25 against 0.19 and 0.22. The SR marking replaces the older SRA plus SRB combination, as the sheet explains.

Use and care

The footbed is removable and made of recycled memory foam. If you replace it, use one that keeps the antistatic path. Clean the upper with a damp cloth and do not dry the boot on a radiator.

The scuff cap is a separately tested material over the toe area that reduces abrasion of the upper, for example when kneeling, and extends the life of the boot. Metal-free does not mean lighter protection in every respect, so check that the impact and compression class matches your site rules. The sheet lists clearances of 15.5 mm and 21.5 mm against the 14 mm limit.

Assembly, logistics, food and catering

The sheet lists automotive, industry, construction, assembly, logistics, food and beverages, cleaning and catering, in dry, wet, uneven and extremely slippery conditions. It is an easy choice for electronics assembly lines, secure-site logistics, food plants with wet floors and facility maintenance teams.

Selection and care notes

A metal-free boot is chosen where there are metal detectors or a need for lighter weight and less thermal conduction. Check that the marks match the site rules, and remember that ESD protection depends on a clean sole and on the flooring. Keep the footbed in place, wash the upper as the label says and replace the boots when the sole or the toecap shows damage.

Information needed for a quotation

Send the full product code, the size range, the quantity in pairs, the delivery location in Oman or the GCC and the hazards the footwear must cover, so that the complete supply can be quoted together.

Documents and supply information

The manufacturer data sheet is attached to this page and should be read together with the project specification and the site risk assessment before a purchase is confirmed. Standards, category marks and sizes are quoted as printed on that sheet. Lead time, stock position and certificates available with the shipment are confirmed in the quotation, and we supply to Oman and the wider GCC region for industrial, utility and construction projects.
