Safety Jogger Cador S3 Mid is a steel toe safety shoe with water resistance, a puncture-resistant midsole and a slip-resistant outsole, delivering all-day comfort and protection in the sheet’s words. The upper is synthetic nubuck over a 3D-mesh lining, and it weighs 0.635 kg in the tested sample.

Cador S3 Mid or Cador S1P?
Both models are ESD shoes with a steel toe and steel midsole. The S3 Mid adds a mid-cut ankle, the S3 category (water penetration resistance and a cleated outsole, general standard information) and a synthetic nubuck upper in place of mesh. Choose the S1P for dry, hot indoor work and the S3 Mid where floors are wet or where an ankle collar helps.
The measured ESD value is 79 MOhm within the 0.1 to 100 MOhm window, so there is less margin to the upper limit than on the S1P; keep floors and clothing in your ESD plan. The SR glycerin slip values of 0.21 and 0.25 are close to the minimums of 0.19 and 0.22, so keep soles clean on greasy floors.
Use and care
The sheet describes the steel midsole as stainless or coated steel that stops sharp objects penetrating the outsole, and the steel toecap as robust metal support against falling or rolling objects. The Airblaze system moves air and moisture within the shoe; do not block it with thick non-breathable socks. Clean the nubuck with a soft brush and do not dry the boots on a radiator.
Because water resistance depends on the upper material staying intact, check for cuts or open seams before wet shifts. Replace the boots when the steel toe has been hit or the sole has worn.

S3 gives a closed heel, puncture-resistant midsole and water resistance, but it is not a rubber wellington boot, so use another type where standing water is constant. Clean, dry and inspect the boots, and replace them after damage.
