Kärcher HG 64 Hot Water Generator
Description
Turn a cold water pressure cleaner into a hot water machine
The Kärcher HG 64 is a 64 kW hot water generator that heats the output of a cold water high-pressure cleaner. Kärcher describes it as a cost-effective way to convert any cold water machine into a hot water machine with higher cleaning performance.
The generator is a separate fired heater in a sturdy pipe frame. It suits fleets and plants that already own a suitable cold water high-pressure cleaner and want to add the oil- and grease-removing effect of heat without buying a complete hot water cleaner.

Features printed by Kärcher
Kärcher lists highly efficient, tried-and-tested Made in Germany burner technology, proven Kärcher safety technology that protects the machine and user, and a sturdy pipe frame for continuous heavy-duty use. Service and maintenance points are easily accessible, the fuel filter is integrated and the fuel tank is removable for cleaning.
Hot water shortens cleaning times and labour costs, removes oils, greases and lubricants more effectively and has a germ-killing effect and protection for sensitive surfaces, according to Kärcher. The sheet lists spray guns and lances for use with the connected machine as accessories.
| Accessory (as printed) | Order no. |
|---|---|
| M22 Classic spray gun | 4.760-843.0 |
| Pistol TR 155 °C with package | 4.119-002.0 |
| EASY!Force Advanced | 4.118-005.0 |
| Spray lance Classic 1,050 mm | 4.760-855.0 |
| Spray lance, 1050 mm, rotatable | 4.760-660.0 |
| Flexible lance, 1050 mm | 6.394-654.0 |
Matching the generator to a pump
The throughput figure of 900 l/h at a 55 °C temperature rise is the sizing reference. A pressure cleaner that delivers more water than this will see a smaller temperature rise, so the pump flow, desired temperature and inlet temperature should be checked together.
Documents and quotation
The Kärcher product information sheet is attached as the datasheet. Before ordering, confirm the compatible pressure cleaner, the connection thread and hoses, the fuel type and the electrical supply for the burner as listed in the operating instructions.
