An IP67 industrial PC with M12 connectors for wet and dirty locations
The Axiomtek IPC980 is a fanless industrial system in an IP67-rated housing with M12 connectors for power, Ethernet, serial and USB. It is aimed at locations that are washed down, dusty or exposed to vibration, such as vehicles and outdoor machinery, where a standard connector would let moisture in.
Inside is an LGA1700 socket for Intel Core Series 2 and 14th, 13th and 12th Generation Core processors up to 65 W on the H610E chipset, with up to 96 GB of DDR5. Three network ports (two 2.5GbE and one GbE, all M12 X-coded), one RS-232/422/485 port and two USB 2.0 ports are on the front, with HDMI and four USB 3.2 Gen 1 available behind a maintenance I/O window.

Optional I/O kits for the maintenance window
Two reserved openings accept optional M12 kits: two USB 2.0, an 8-bit TTL programmable DIO, an additional RS-232/422/485 port, or a MIO108 Mini PCIe CAN bus kit with CAN 2.0 A/B. A wall-mount kit and a 90 W adapter are listed; the adapter does not support the ignition function.

The IP67 rating depends on keeping the maintenance window closed and the connectors mated or capped, so plan the cabling with M12 mating cables. Specify the processor, memory, drives, and the optional I/O kits, and note that the HDMI and the USB 3.2 ports are inside the maintenance area.

Axiomtek product families
The eBOX line covers compact fanless computers with wide DC input, from small Alder Lake-N units to LGA1700 systems with MXM graphics.
