Brand:

Axiomtek IPC964A 4-Slot Industrial System

Description

A four-slot LGA1700 system for GPU and I/O card combinations

The Axiomtek IPC964A is the largest of the IPC96xA family, with a four-slot cage that provides one PCIe x16 Gen 4, one PCIe x8 (x4 signal) Gen 3 and two PCIe x4 Gen 4 slots, and up to 350 W of power for add-in cards. That headroom is what separates it from the two-slot IPC962A and suits a GPU for inference plus acquisition, motion or fieldbus cards in one enclosure.

The processor is an LGA1700 14th, 13th or 12th Generation Intel Core up to 65 W on the Q670E chipset, with up to 96 GB of DDR5. Connectors are on the front, and the 18 to 36 VDC input includes ignition control.

Planning the four-slot cage

The optional EIO142 module is described in the datasheet as one PCIe x16 Gen 4, one PCIe x4 Gen 4 and two PCI slots. Because card power, length and cooling interact, the datasheet lists an internal fan module kit and an external fan module kit (project-based) along with 500 W and 750 W 24 V PSUs on request. The extension I/O window takes the AX935xx serial modules, the MIO160 serial and CAN module, or the MIO530 cellular module.

What to confirm

Provide the list of cards with their slot, length and power draw, the supply available (18 to 36 VDC), and the ambient conditions. The base system is ordered without processor, memory or storage, so those must be listed separately.

Documents and quotation

The manufacturer datasheet for the IPC964A is attached to this page as a PDF (document type: datasheet) so the figures above can be checked against the source. For a quotation, send the full model or ordering code, quantity, any options such as modules or accessories, and the delivery location through the RFQ form. Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier in Muscat; availability and lead time are confirmed per request. About brand

Axiomtek is a Taiwanese maker of industrial computers and embedded systems, founded in 1990 in Taipei by YT Yang. It began as a systems integrator for automatic test systems, then moved into single board computers and industrial PCs. The company is based in New Taipei City and also owns the networking business EtherWAN.

Seven Star LLC, an independent supplier in Muscat, lists Axiomtek fanless eBOX computers and front-access IPC industrial systems such as the eBOX671B and the IPC980, each with the manufacturer datasheet.

Milestones

  • 1990: YT Yang founds Axiomtek in Taipei.
  • 2015: Axiomtek marks its 25th anniversary.

Axiomtek product families

The eBOX line covers compact fanless computers with wide DC input, from small Alder Lake-N units to LGA1700 systems with MXM graphics. The IPC line uses a vertical front-access chassis with optional PCIe slot cages for add-in cards, and one IP67 model with M12 connectors. Operating ranges, power input and I/O differ between models, so the datasheet should be read against the application, for example whether a -40 C rating, ignition control or a given number of serial ports is needed.

Ordering Axiomtek systems

Send the full order code including the suffix, plus the processor, memory, storage and any I/O modules or mounting kits. Most systems in the range are ordered without CPU, memory and drives, so those must be specified separately, and wide-temperature parts are sorted through the manufacturer. The datasheet ordering section also lists mounting kits, adapters and add-on modules for each model.
