Description
NVR5208-EI is an 8-channel, 1U, two-bay network video recorder from the Dahua WizSense NVR5000-EI series. It accepts cameras up to 32 MP, records at up to 384 Mbps and carries its own AI chip for face detection and recognition, perimeter protection and SMD Plus, which means it can add analytics even to cameras that have none.
A compact recorder with analytics built in
AI by Recorder gives two channels of face detection and recognition (up to 20 face databases and 20,000 face images), four channels of perimeter protection with ten IVS rules each, and eight channels of SMD Plus that secondarily filters human and vehicle targets to cut false alarms from leaves, rain and lighting changes. With AI by Camera the recorder also handles metadata, ANPR, PPE detection, people counting and heat map data from compatible cameras, with AcuPick search on up to eight channels.
The unit is 375 mm wide, 284.4 mm deep and 56 mm high, weighs 1.57 kg and draws no more than 10 W without disks. It has one gigabit port, HDMI and VGA outputs, 4 alarm inputs and 2 alarm outputs.
