The Pentair Aurora 324A is the horizontal, flexible-coupled, frame-mounted model of the Aurora 320 Series single-stage end suction pumps. The series covers capacities to 400 GPM (75 m3/h), heads to 210 ft (42 m) and temperatures to 225 degF (107 degC). Aurora says the clean, straightforward design of the 320 Series was developed with maximum interchangeability in mind.
The top centreline-mounted casing with a vertical centreline discharge makes the pump self-venting, avoids vapour locks and minimises pipe strain, and the back pull-out design allows disassembly without disturbing the suction and discharge piping.

Selection notes
The brochure gives 3500 RPM and 2880 RPM range charts, with a note that individual performance curves should be checked for final selection. Provide flow, total head, NPSH available, liquid and temperature so the pump size and speed can be matched to the curve.

Pentair Aurora 3800 Series pumps
The 3800 Series is a single-stage end suction design: liquid enters axially and leaves through a radial discharge, with one impeller on the shaft. Pentair builds it as the close-coupled Model 3801 and the flexible-coupled Model 3804, and lists it for HVAC, chilled and hot water, pressure boosting, municipal and industrial service. The same casing size can be built with different impeller diameters and motors, so the size alone does not define the pump.
