Reading the code and choosing a variant

The code reads 2 pumps, NKV 10 pump series, 8 stages (derived from the curve labels 10/5 to 10/14 on the sheet) and T for three-phase. Hotels, apartment towers, hospitals, labour camps and factory utilities that draw water from a ground tank and must hold constant pressure to upper floors are the target. A two-pump set lets the pumps share the load, but the sheet does not describe alternation or standby logic, so confirm with the manufacturer how the pumps are sequenced for your system.

A booster set is selected from the peak demand, the required pressure and the supply pressure at the inlet. Fit it on a level base with isolating valves on both sides and flexible connectors to reduce vibration, protect the supply with a suction pressure switch where the inlet can fail, check the vessel pre-charge and set the pressure to match the highest outlet in the building.
