Brand:

Atos DHE Solenoid Directional Valve, ISO 4401 Size 06

Description

A compact solenoid valve for everyday hydraulic switching

The Atos DHE is a direct-operated, spool-type directional valve for subplate mounting on the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 pattern (size 06). It is the size 06 on-off valve of the Atos industrial range: 4/3, 4/2 or 3/2 way, 80 l/min maximum flow and 350 bar on the working ports. The solenoids are wet-type screwed tubes with an integrated manual override pin, and the coils are interchangeable between AC and DC supply without tools. Atos states that the coils carry the North American cURus certification, which matters when the same machine is shipped to several markets.

Typical uses are machine tool clamping, press and injection moulding auxiliaries, power-pack manifolds, lifting platforms and general industrial hydraulics where a reliable size 06 valve is needed in quantity.

How to read the DHE order code

The model code builds in ten fields, for example DHE-0611/A/L1-X24DC. After the valve type come the size (0 for size 06), the two-digit configuration (61, 63, 67, 70, 71 or 75), the spool type, construction options, switching-time options, coil and connector option, voltage code, series number and seal material. Construction options include a solenoid at the B side, a hand lever (MO horizontal, MV vertical) and the WP manual override. For DC coils the L1, L2 and L3 restrictors (1.1, 0.9 and 0.7 mm) slow the spool movement in both directions to soften hydraulic shock.

Voltage codes cover 12, 14, 24, 28, 48, 110, 125 and 220 VDC and 24, 48, 110 and 230 VAC at 50/60 Hz, plus 115 and 230 VAC at 60 Hz and 110 and 230 V with rectifier. Connectors include X (none), XJ (AMP Junior Timer), XK (Deutsch) and XS (lead wire, 180 mm cable).

What to confirm before ordering

Send the complete code from the valve nameplate, because the spool type decides the centre-position behaviour and the flow limit. Confirm whether the coil is AC or DC, the voltage, the connector and the seal material for your fluid. The T-port pressure limit is lower on AC valves (160 bar against 210 bar for DC). More Atos valves are listed in the hydraulic valves and components category, and a size 03 alternative from another maker is the Duplomatic DS3.

About brand

Atos is an Italian manufacturer of electrohydraulic components, founded in 1957 and headquartered in Sesto Calende. Its catalogue spans on-off and proportional valves, digital electronics, cylinders and pumps for industrial hydraulics, from compact size 06 solenoid valves to large piloted proportional valves.

Atos valves and electronics

The range includes directional, pressure, flow and check valves, modular valves, ISO cartridges and proportional valves with on-board digital drivers, IO-Link and fieldbus interfaces, Bluetooth set-up and closed-loop control. Each valve family is documented in a numbered technical table, with the model code, hydraulic data, electrical data, dimensions and the options that can be added, such as low-temperature seals, manual overrides or lockable adjustment knobs.

Supply from Seven Star LLC

Seven Star LLC, an independent supplier in Muscat, sources Atos hydraulic valves against the manufacturer order code and technical table, and provides the datasheet with each quotation. Send the full model code, the coil voltage or interface, and the seal material.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the mounting pattern of the Atos DHE?
The DHE is a size 06 valve on the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 interface. It is fixed to a subplate with four M5 x 30 class 12.9 screws at 8 Nm, using four OR 108 O-rings.
What is the maximum flow and pressure of the DHE?
Atos gives 80 l/min maximum flow. Ports P, A and B are rated to 350 bar; the T port is limited to 210 bar on DC valves and 160 bar on AC valves. The usable flow depends on spool type and supply voltage.
Can the same valve take AC and DC coils?
The valve body and tube are specific to AC or DC supply, and the coils are interchangeable within that supply type. Order the correct voltage code, and use the spare coil code from the datasheet when replacing a coil.
What do the L1, L2 and L3 options do?
They are calibrated restrictors in the solenoid anchor for DC valves. They slow the switching time in both spool directions to reduce hydraulic shocks, at the cost of a longer response time.
Which seals suit fire-resistant fluids?
Atos lists FKM seals (option /PE) for HFDU and HFDR fluids, and NBR seals for HFC water-glycol fluids. Tell us the fluid when ordering so the correct seal code is selected.
