How do I read an Atos model code?
Atos codes are built from numbered fields in a fixed order: valve type, size, configuration or range, options, coil or driver, voltage, series number and seal material. The technical table for each family lists every field, so send the complete code from the valve nameplate.
What is an Atos technical table?
Atos documents each product family in a numbered technical table, such as E015 for DHE directional valves or FS175 for DPZO proportional valves. Each table holds the model code, hydraulic data, dimensions and options.
What is the difference between on-off and proportional Atos valves?
On-off valves such as the DHE switch a spool between fixed positions. Proportional valves such as the DHZO or AGMZO regulate flow or pressure in proportion to a reference signal, with digital drivers and, in many models, position or pressure feedback.
Do Atos digital proportional valves need a separate driver?
Valves marked R use an off-board driver. The REB, TEB and LEB executions carry a basic driver on board, and RES, TES and LES carry a full driver with fieldbus options.
