Legacy modular pressure controller for bench and rack calibration

The Druck PACE5000 and PACE6000 are modular pneumatic pressure controllers for test bench, bench top and rack mount calibration and automated test. A chassis (single-channel PACE5000 or dual-channel PACE6000) takes interchangeable PACE CM control modules, so a module can be sent for recalibration without the chassis because its calibration data is stored in the module.

The datasheet lists pressure control up to 210 bar (3000 psi) gauge and absolute, 5 seconds to fill 300 cc, precision to 0.001% FS, 28 selectable pressure units plus four user-defined units, colour touch-screen operation, and RS232, IEEE-488, Ethernet and USB interfaces as standard. Optional tasks include switch test, leak test, burst test, test program, analogue output and volt-free contacts. The PACE6000 adds an aeronautical option with a CM2-A module.

Legacy status: Druck now lists the PACE5000 E and PACE6000 E controllers in its current PACE range, and the original PACE 5000 and PACE 6000 pages are labelled obsolete on the manufacturer site. Ordering a PACE configuration

The datasheet asks for eight selections: the chassis (I5000 or I6000), optional features (switch test, leak test, test program, burst test, analogue output, volt-free contacts and, for the PACE6000, aeronautical), a mains lead for the country, the area of use, the control module precision grade, the pressure range, the barometric option and the aeronautical option if needed.

Physical accessories listed include adaptors from G 1/8 to G 1/4, NPT, UNF, AN4 and AN6, a negative-gauge generator, a vacuum system check valve kit, a snubber reference port, a diffuser, a filter kit and 19 inch rack mount kits for the PACE5000 and PACE6000.

What to confirm before ordering

Confirm that the legacy PACE models, rather than the E series, are what the application needs, for instance to match an existing control module. Provide pressure range, precision grade, gas supply and the options required.
