Uvex K1 2600001 Earmuffs SNR 28 dB EN 352-1
Description
The Uvex K1 2600001 is the lightest earmuff in the K-series, rated SNR 28 dB with H 35, M 24 and L 17 dB under EN 352-1:2020. It weighs 180 g, has stepless length adjustment, a padded comfort headband and replaceable soft ear pads, and is available in black and green. The K-series is colour-coded so that users can identify the attenuation class at a glance, and K1 is the lowest of four levels (K1 to K4).
It is suited to moderate noise or intermittent exposure, and to workers who need a light, low-profile protector. The datasheet also gives AS/NZS 1270 and ANSI S3.19 results: SLC80 28 dB class 5, and NRR 23 dB with CSA class B.

Key features from the datasheet
The datasheet lists a padded comfort headband, stepless length adjustment, colour coding for the hearing protection levels, soft ear pads for a good seal, replaceable ear pads for hygiene, an optimum cup inner geometry for pressure-free enclosure of the outer ear, and logo printing on all uvex earmuffs. The product page notes the soft surface and low weight, and the need to replace the sealing pads every six months.
Selection and ordering guide
The K-series has four attenuation levels: K1 SNR 28 dB (180 g), K2 SNR 32 dB (217 g), K3 SNR 33 dB (297 g) and K4 SNR 35 dB (356 g), each with its own article number (2600001 to 2600004). This page is for K1 only. For louder environments, choose a higher level or combine the muffs with plugs such as the x-fit on this site. The pheos faceguard and helmet systems accept the K1P and K2P bayonet earmuffs, which are different article numbers.
Care and storage
Store in the original packaging in a dry, clean place protected from light, UV and heat, between -10 and 55 C, and do not stretch the headband or compress the sealing pads. The datasheet gives a storage period and service life of five years from the date of manufacture and recommends replacing the ear pads every six months. Clean with mild soap and water or the uvex cleaning towelettes.
Applications in GCC industry
K1 earmuffs are typical for inspection staff, operators and visitors entering moderately noisy plant areas, and for workshop tasks with intermittent noise. In hot conditions earmuffs with soft pads can be sweaty, so replace pads and clean regularly. For turbine halls, compressor houses and drilling floors, the risk assessment will usually require a higher attenuation class or double protection.
For quantities, article 2600001 is sold as one piece per sales unit and 20 pieces per carton, so full-carton orders are multiples of 20. The datasheet names the size 1 hygiene kit, article 2599971, as the replacement item for the ear pads that should be changed about every six months.
Selection and installation notes
Hearing protection works only when it is worn for the whole exposure and fitted correctly. Compare the attenuation figures on the label with the noise level measured at the workplace, since over-protection can isolate the user from warning signals, check the cushions and headband regularly for wear, hardening and cracks, and replace the parts when they no longer seal. Hygiene kits and spare pads are available on request.
Information needed for a quotation
Send the full model code, the quantity, the delivery location in Oman or the GCC, the intended use and any accessories needed, so that the complete package can be quoted together.
Documents and supply information
The manufacturer data sheet is attached to this page and should be read together with the project specification and the site risk assessment before a purchase is confirmed. Ratings, standards and dimensions are quoted as printed on that sheet. Lead time, stock position and certificates available with the shipment are confirmed in the quotation, and we supply to Oman and the wider GCC region for industrial, utility and building services projects.

About brand
Uvex is a German family-owned safety and sports group based in Fürth, Bavaria. Philipp M. Winter founded the Optische Industrie-Anstalt Philipp M. Winter in 1926, making safety goggles by hand in a small workshop in Poppenreuth. His son Rainer Winter created the uvex name in 1956 from the lens quality mark 'UltraViolet EXcluded'. The group marked its centenary in 2026 and is led by the third generation of the Winter family.
