TVN product series
The V801 is a globe valve.
Globe valves move a disc against a seat in line with the flow, which allows throttling and tight shut-off but causes a higher pressure drop than gate or ball valves. They are chosen by size, pressure rating, body material, end connections and the medium, and are common on steam, water and process lines where flow must be regulated.

How are TVN valves identified?
TVN uses a figure number that starts with V, followed by three digits, and each number stands for one valve design. The number alone does not fix the size or pressure class, so an inquiry also needs the nominal diameter, the PN rating and the flange standard. A photo of the body casting marks or the nameplate helps a lot.
What kind of service are TVN valves made for?
The manufacturer describes its field as waterworks, wastewater, irrigation, hydropower, industry and fire protection. That means mainly water-based media in pipelines and plant rooms. For steam, hydrocarbons or chemicals, send us the medium, pressure and temperature first so the body, seat and seal materials can be checked against the manufacturer's datasheet.
What do you need to quote a TVN V801 globe valve?

TVN ball valves are tested to EN 12266-1, for example a PN16 valve gets a seat test at 17.6 bar (1.1 x PN) and a body test at 24 bar (1.5 x PN).
