CEMB N130 Portable Vibration Analyzer

Description

The CEMB N130 is a portable vibration meter and analyser with a 4.3 inch colour touchscreen, built for maintenance engineers who need to survey rotating machines on site. It combines overall vibration measurement with FFT spectrum analysis and tachometer input, and stores results in on-board memory for later review.

Portable vibration analyser for plant surveys

One IEPE accelerometer input and one photocell (tacho) channel cover the usual routine: measure overall vibration on bearings, check the spectrum for unbalance, misalignment or looseness, and read shaft speed in the same visit. Results can be shown as RMS, peak or peak-to-peak values. The unit runs on a rechargeable lithium battery and is supplied in a carrying case with the sensor, magnetic base and probe, so a survey round needs no extra purchases.

Selection and applications

Choose the N130 for periodic condition surveys of pumps, fans, motors, compressors and gearboxes where a handheld instrument is more practical than permanently installed monitoring. For fixed protection of critical machines, a permanently mounted transmitter such as the CEMB N600 is the better fit. Seven Star LLC supplies CEMB vibration instruments to industrial buyers in Oman and the Gulf.

Confirm before ordering: the sensor sensitivity you need, the rpm range of your machines, whether you need field balancing features, memory capacity, and any additional cables or probes.

About brand

Balancing is the single subject CEMB has worked on since 1946, from its base in Mandello del Lario, Italy. The company is organized in three divisions, and two of them matter to plant engineers: industrial balancing machines and vibration equipment. Seven Star LLC lists CEMB vibration transmitters, a portable analyzer and balancer, and a horizontal balancing machine, and supplies them to maintenance teams and workshops in Oman as an independent supplier.

CEMB vibration transmitters and balancing equipment

Among the transmitters listed are the TR-26, the TR-27 and the TR-PRO. They are case-mounted sensors that convert absolute machine vibration into a 2-wire 4-20 mA signal for a PLC or DCS. The N600 is a portable instrument for vibration analysis and in-place balancing of rotors, the tool behind searches such as portable balancer Middle East. The Z5-TC is a horizontal dynamic balancing machine.

Where CEMB equipment is used

CEMB vibration transmitters are fitted on fans, blowers, pumps, electric motors, cooling tower gearboxes and similar auxiliary machines where a permanent protection signal is wanted without a full rack system. Portable balancers serve rotating equipment crews in power stations, cement plants and process plants in the GCC. Balancing machines go to motor rewind shops, fan builders and overhaul workshops.

Ordering CEMB parts: what we need

A transmitter code such as TR-26/1/1/2/0 is a configuration string, and every digit selects an option. Send it complete, with the measuring range, the unit (velocity in mm/s, RMS or peak), cable or connector type and length, and the hazardous area marking if the sensor sits in a classified zone. For a balancing machine we need rotor weight range, maximum diameter and length, journal diameters, drive type and the balancing tolerance you work to.
