Haws 7260B AXION MSR Wall Mount Eye/Face Wash
Description
7260B is the Haws AXION MSR wall-mounted eye/face wash, supplied with an 11 in. green ABS bowl, a cast-aluminum wall bracket and a 3.7 gpm laminar flow head. Haws prints the specification sheet as 7260B-7270B and states on its product page that, because of technology advancements, the two models are now the same.
A compact bowl-type eyewash for the wall
This is the classic bowl format: a round receptor 11 in. (27.9 cm) across, resistant to damage from alkalies according to the sheet, with the AXION MSR head rising from its centre under a yellow pop-off dust cover. A single push of the stainless steel flag opens a chrome-plated brass stay-open ball valve, so the user does not have to hold it open while flushing.
Ahead of the valve sits a chrome-plated brass in-line 50 x 50 mesh strainer. Haws describes it as easily serviceable and includes it so debris from the supply line does not reach the eye. The unit ships with a pre-assembled cast-aluminum wall bracket, and the eye/face wash and valve assembly is pre-built and fully water/pressure tested.

Selection and ordering guide
Pick the 7260B where the eyes and face are the hazard and a plumbed supply with a drain is available. The 7260BT-7270BT variant named in the manual has a 1-1/2 in. NPT waste outlet instead of 1-1/4 in., so check which waste size your drain uses. Self-contained portable units such as the 7500 on this site suit places without plumbing.
The datasheet notes say the flushing pattern must be at least 33 in. and no more than 53 in. above the standing surface and 6 in. clear of the wall or nearest obstruction, so the bracket height should be fixed from the drawing, not from the bowl rim.
Installation and operation notes
Haws recommends a minimum 1/2 in. IPS line at 30-90 psi flowing pressure and an inlet filter where sediment is present. For low flow the checklist first asks you to verify 30 psi, then to remove the eye/face wash head, take out the four screws, clean the flow control, and finally to open the L-strainer with a 3/8 in. Allen wrench and clean the screen.
Drain piping must handle the waste flow; the checklist lists a blocked or undersized waste line as the cause of poor draining.
Applications in Oman and the GCC
Wall-mounted bowls are a standard fitting beside decanting stations, laboratory benches, water-treatment chemical dosing skids and maintenance workshops. In dusty GCC environments the pop-off cover or the stainless 9102 cover keeps grit out of the head between weekly activations.
The alarm option helps in unattended locations where a person who has used the unit needs help.
