Flygt 4410 Low-Speed Submersible Mixer

Description

Low-speed submersible mixers for large wastewater treatment tanks

The Flygt 4410 is the smallest of the Flygt 4400 series of large submersible mixers, designed for highly efficient, low-speed mixing of large volumes with minimal power consumption. Xylem lists activated sludge, oxidation ditches, MBBR processes, sequencing batch reactors and retention tanks as typical processes. The drive unit has a rugged gearbox and a squirrel-cage induction motor with IE3 efficiency, Class H (180 degC) trickle-impregnated windings, and the signature backswept two-blade propeller is self-cleaning to avoid clogging. Each model in the series can be customised with different motor categories and sizes, gear ratios and propeller diameters; a major overhaul is typically needed only every 10 years.

What to confirm before ordering

Give tank geometry and volume, required thrust or mixing intensity, liquid properties, immersion depth and the supply frequency, and confirm propeller size, gear ratio, motor category and cable length. Mixers are selected by Xylem from these inputs. See the Flygt N 3085 wastewater pump and Pumps for related equipment.

About brand

Submersible pumping for wastewater is the field Flygt works in, with roots in Sweden going back to 1901, and its pumps and mixers sit in lift stations and treatment plants around the world. Seven Star LLC, an independent supplier in Muscat, lists Flygt submersible wastewater pumps, including the N 3085, the N 3153, the F 3153 chopper pump and the Concertor pumping system, together with the 4410 mixer, and sources Flygt submersible pumps and spare parts for utilities, contractors and industrial sites in Oman.

Flygt pump families we handle

The manufacturer groups its wastewater pumps into N-technology pumps, the Concertor series and channel impeller pumps, alongside submersible dewatering pumps, mixers and pump monitoring units such as the MAS 801. The N 3085 listed here belongs to the N-technology line, which is built around an impeller meant to keep passing rags and solids instead of clogging. Concertor combines the pump with built-in control electronics. Older units may carry ITT Flygt on the data plate; the model number is read the same way.

Ordering Flygt pumps and parts: what we need

Send everything on the pump data plate: model number, version, serial number, impeller or curve code, motor rating, voltage and frequency. For a new pump add flow, head, the liquid and its solids content, and whether the pump sits on guide rails in a wet well, is portable or is dry mounted. For Flygt spare parts anywhere in the GCC, a clear photo of the data plate plus the part description lets us match the manufacturer's parts list.
