Field-mount batch controller with two-stage control and self-learning overrun correction

The Fluidwell F130 is a two-stage batch controller for repeating or one-off batches of liquid, measured by a pulse-output flow meter. It shows the preset value and the running or remaining batch quantity at the same time, learns the overrun after each batch to correct the next one, and raises a no-flow alarm with an automatic pause if the input signal stops. Fluidwell supplies it in a panel-mount GRP housing that converts to an IP67 / Type 4X field enclosure with a back case, and in robust aluminium and 316L stainless steel field enclosures; Intrinsically Safe versions carry ATEX and IECEx approval for gas and dust, and the unit works from -40 to +70 degC.

Ordering code structure

The model is built from F130 followed by input (P), communication (CB, CH, CI, CT or CX for none), enclosure, additional input and output codes, power type, battery option and Intrinsically Safe option XI. Examples in the datasheet are F130-P-CT-OT-PB-XI for a battery-powered Intrinsically Safe unit. Enclosure codes cover the GRP panel mount (HC), aluminium panel mount (HB), stainless panel mount (HSB), GRP field mount (HD to HQ), aluminium field mount (HA, HL to HZ), extended aluminium meter mount (HBM, HBO, HBU) and stainless field mount (HSM, HSO, HSU), each with its own cable entries.

Selection and what to confirm before ordering

Confirm the flow meter output type and frequency, the power available at the skid or truck, whether the valve or pump needs two control stages, the cable entry standard (M16/M20, PG9 or NPT) and the hazardous area classification. Intrinsically Safe versions need a certified supply and barrier arrangement as described in the certificate annex.
