A programmable controller for centralized lubrication systems
The SMAC-MAX Controller is a multi-purpose programmable controller for industrial lubrication systems. Settings are saved when power is interrupted, and up to four operating modes can be selected so the same controller fits different system designs, with motor-driven or pneumatically activated lubricators.
A digital display on the front cover makes programming simple. The controller monitors the system (low pressure switch, low level, air pressure) and offers a 0 to 99 second afterblow, remote reset or manual run, and a fault relay for the host machine.

Choosing the version
Part 42012-5 is the controller with liquid-tight connector for 110 VAC and 42012-4 for 220 VAC. Choose the mode by the feedback you have: pressure switch (mode 2) or cycle switch (mode 3), with a low level switch and an air pressure switch as additional inputs. It connects to motor-driven lubricators through the motor output and to pneumatic lubricators through the solenoid output, plus an air solenoid for spray systems.

Installation and operation
Mount the controller in a clean area on a flat surface with easy access for programming and visual checking. Terminal connections cover power (1, 2), motor or solenoid output (3, 4), spray solenoid (5, 6), cycle or pressure input (7, 8), stop signal (9, 10), air pressure monitoring (11, 12) and low level or machine count input (13, 14). Press S and R together to enter control mode, select the mode with the arrow key and save with R, which also starts a lubrication cycle. Bijur Delimon product series
