Bijur Delimon ZEM Positive Displacement Injector
Description
Pre-set metered output for each lubrication point
The ZEM series are classic positive displacement injectors (PDI) that deliver precise, controlled lubricant quantities. Each injector is pre-set volumetrically so each point gets the proper amount, avoiding over or under lubrication. As pressure builds in the manifold the piston moves forward and discharges its set volume; when pressure is relieved, a compression spring returns the piston and recharges the injector.
They handle oil and soft greases, offer many output volumes, and a modular design allows different outputs within one manifold. ZEM injectors can be used together with other ZEM series in the same system, and optional push-to-connect fittings cut installation labor.

Building the part number
ZEM followed by injector series (32, 33, 34, 35 or 39), number of outlets, outlet type (C or P) and a discharge-volume letter for each outlet (A 0.01 cc, B 0.03, C 0.06, D 0.10, E 0.16, F 0.20, S 0.30, G 0.40, H 0.60, I 1.00, J 1.50, X 0.00). The datasheet example ZEM353PDFH is a three-outlet series 35 injector with push-to-connect outlets of 0.1, 0.2 and 0.6 cc. Series 32 and 33 need manifolds or tee fittings, sold separately (tee 22564 and 73462-3443 per the datasheet).

System requirements
The pump must build 15 bar at the injector for it to fire, and a pressure relief valve must quickly drop line pressure to 0.3 to 0.7 bar between cycles so injectors fully recharge. Compression or push-to-connect outlet fittings are available on all ZEM injectors. PDI-capable pumps in the range include the SureFire II (PDI version) and Airmatic (mode B); see pumps and lubrication equipment.
