Description
Technopolymer limit switch with an adjustable one-way roller lever
The FR 1007 is a Pizzato Elettrica position switch from the FR series, built in a glass-fibre reinforced technopolymer housing with a single threaded conduit entry and a hinged cover held by one captive screw. The head is an adjustable roller lever that operates in one direction only, so the switch trips as a cam or moving part passes the roller one way and is not disturbed on the return stroke. The contact block is code 10, two normally open contacts with slow action.
Because the actuator can be adjusted, the lever length and roller position can be set on the machine to suit the stroke instead of ordering a different head. Pizzato offers 17 contact blocks and 48 actuators in the FR series, so the same housing also exists with plungers, rods, rope heads and safety levers.

Reading the order code
Pizzato builds a full code from the article, then the options: a code such as FR 502-W3XGM2K70R23T6 adds a reset device (W3), gold-plated contacts, a threaded entry (M2 for M20x1.5, M1 for M16x1.5, PG 13.5, PG 11 or 1/2 NPT), pre-installed cable glands or an M12 connector, an ambient temperature option and a roller material. The catalogue cautions that the feasibility of a code does not mean the product is effectively available, so confirm with the supplier.
For FR 1007 the first two digits after the series letters select the contact block and the last two the actuator, the standard form shown on the product page: housing, 2NO contact block, adjustable one-way roller head.
Using it on a machine
Two normally open contacts make the FR 1007 a signalling and position-detection switch, for example confirming that a slide, cylinder or carriage has reached an end position. Where a switch is used in a safety circuit, the catalogue states that only switches marked with the positive-opening symbol beside the product code may be used and that the safety circuit must be connected to the NC contacts, so a 2NO block is not a safety contact arrangement.
Please confirm contact arrangement, entry thread and cable gland before ordering, and keep the cam profile within the actuation travel the catalogue prints.

Pizzato product series
Position switches include the FD 1001 metal switch with plunger, the FK 301 switch with plunger and snap action contacts, and the FR 1007 switch with adjustable roller lever.
Switches are chosen by the housing (metal or technopolymer), actuator, contact block and electrical connection. Snap action contacts switch quickly regardless of actuator speed, and positive opening contacts are used in safety circuits.
