Measurement Principle
The Limitorque MX uses a 100% repeatable and redundant absolute encoder for position sensing, combined with an electronic torque switch that eliminates the mechanical wear points found in traditional actuator designs. Instant actuator status and valve position are displayed in 11 languages, with the graphical display orientation configurable to rotate 180° and diagnostic graphs available for clearer data collection.
Simple “Yes” and “No” responses to dialog questions confirm the setup of the MX via solid-state Hall effect switches, and Flowserve Limitorque’s namesake torque-sensing feature ensures precise, repeatable operation.
